Absolutely everything from the spotlessly clean and elegant hotel itself to the incomparable hospitality of our host Paola and her husband. We would say we are quite discerning guests but we can honestly say that nothing was left to chance. Every possible attention was paid to the detail and Paola simply could not have been a better or more welcoming host. I would make a detour in my itinerary just to ensure a stay at this beautiful hotel again. Do not hesitate. Find out for yourselves!!!

Must stay in Tirano! The hosts Paola and Cristiano provide the highest wuality of stay and service! I have never been in such kind of stay. The simple breakfast (fresh orange juice, pastries and delicious espresso) and pre-dinner drinks, that were included in the night rate, was a nice surprise.

Paola and her husband were wonderful hosts. Warm and friendly, we were made to feel immediately at home in Tirano. Nothing was too much trouble and their advice on our incorrect Tirano Express tickets was invaluable in ensuring we experienced the train ride of a lifetime. We received complimentary evening drinks, a wonderful breakfast and Paola even gifted us a small selection of local delicacies. The room layout has been well thought out and it was by far the cleanest accomodation we have experienced during our week in Italy. The view of the Swiss Alps from our balcony room was incredible and the restaurant recommendation ('Liberty Ristorante & Pizzeria') in Tirano was exceptional. We wish we had stayed 3 nights here rather only one. Thoroughly recommend this accomodation and if you are travelling on the Bernina railway, give yourself 2 nights in Tirano as there is much to explore here.

The bath area in our room (room number 1) was of open design, meaning it had no walls. Although for us it was not a problem, the lack of privacy may be of concern to some! Price a bit on higher side compared to nearby options, maybe because we booked just a day before.

Excellent location (2 mins walk from train station), very supportive hosts (Paula and her husband are simply amazing), modern design, comfortable room of decent size. They provided complimentary breakfast and a small goodbye gift also. Will like to stay again!

The owner Paula is the perfect host. The hotel has only 4 rooms which makes it really cosy and boutique feel. It’s super clean and wonderfully renovated - the location is close to the train station. It’s rare to find this kind of hospitality and eye for detail. Super delicious croissants in the morning.

What a gem of a hotel! From the efficient check-in/check-out process, each moment was delightful. Also, the hotel has a very secure and safe environment. From the moment we walked in, Paola made us feel right at home. Both her and her husband have built a jaw dropping hotel whilst maintaining its classical structure and architecture. The room looks, smells and feels marvellous, a level of cleanliness we had never experienced before at a hotel. The service was most attentive to the smallest details. Our only regret was not staying longer. We will certainly be back!

That we made a mistake not to book an extra night and left early!

I would classify our stay in Dimora as an experience rather than a stay. An amazing renovated house with top quality materials, unbelievable design and owners that make you feel at home from the first to the last second. By far the best place to stay in Tirano, if not in the region. Added bonus the bar in front of the building with coffee, drinks, amazing deserts and chatting with the locals.
