The air conditioner could have been stronger. Lots of steep stair cases to access our room, which was located under the roof.

The breakfast was very simple, but good. Adding little more local dishes would be good.

The location was convenient with lot of places to eat & drink nearby and also a good supermarket to buy some gifts. WWe also had a winery tour which is very much walkable from the Hotel. The room was AWESOME and liked it very much. The time we went was a bit chilly (in Nov) and the room heater wasn't working. When we requested it, was fixed immediately in minutes and the staff were very friendly. We didn't drive around so much as there was plenty to be explored in walkable distance. Probably next time we visit, we will stay at the same place and drive around to the nearby towns.

Nothing could have been better. Only staying another night would have improved our experience.

An in-town location among one-way streets but parking right outside the door. Very well placed in the heart of Menfi and close to the extraordinary Regina d'Alabastro restaurant recommended by the hotel. Giussi and the team could barely be more welcoming. Our rooms were exceptional. Our huge room had a sitting-room and library outside the door and our friend's very spacious room up in the roof had an extraordinary bathroom. The whole Palazzo has been partially reconstructed by an architect using local references and includes a most beautiful roof terrace and a charming breakfast area on a bougainvillea-covered balcony outside the kitchen. Breakfast was superbly Sicilian. The team came to meet us at breakfast to tell us much about the local area. As we were leaving we discovered that Giussi runs cooking classes and this and the ambience and charm of Dimora Siqu made us want so much to go back. It's very close by car to Selinunte and to the Planeta Ulmo winery at Sambuca where we had a five-star tour and tasting. An exceptional hotel.

Nothing, all good. I guess you could say having an English tv channel wasn’t great, but pretty sure we don’t have Italian Channels in the Uk.

Beautifully architected and a clean build smell to it. It felt like how you’d imagine Sicilian properties to be.

This is an ideal location to stay while exploring the region. Dimora SIQU is a lovely typical Sicilian villa that has been very nicely restored. We stayed in the Solerata room - an elegant, spacious room with a huge comfortable bed. The room is tastefully decorated. Giusi was a friendly host who made fresh cake for us! While we were there, Dimora SIQU hosted two intriguing art events. All in all, a nice place to stay.

The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The people who ran the place were very attentive and kind, they responded quickly and helpfully to my queries about parking before I arrived. I was travelling alone but felt very safe . The hotel is very beautiful with its own courtyard with a tree in it which is the canopy for the breakfast terrace. The communal rooms are also very attractive . Menfi is a small, genuinely Sicilian town and I felt very safe there and the people were very kind and helpful, there is a great Pizza Place called 'Drugstore' just round the corner. There are regular buses to the coast about 15mins away, but it is helpful to have a car and it is easy to find somewhere to park. It is a great place to do do a 'mini tour' from if you have your own transport.

There isn’t actually anything we can recall not liking.

We loved the location, interior and history behind the building. We were welcomed very warmly and shown around and we loved the personal touch with customer service. We also loved the 120 year old tree, communal area and the terrace. Our room was very rustic and we loved the decor all around.

The hosts were exceptionally helpful. They did everything they could to help us enjoy our stay. We had a great cooking lesson with them and they helped book restaurants and provided great recommendations. The property is very tastefully renovated and really comfortable, close to the town centre. This enables easy access to restaurants and bars. Good parking available on the street. Good breakfast. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Lack of good lighting in the bathroom.

Location, loving restoration, comfort, beautiful common areas, delicious breakfast, gracious hosts. We were on the very top floor so the public terrace at that level was like our own private rooftop garden.

Beautiful, well-run lodgings in a perfect location. Quiet. Luxury linen and towels. A good shower. An elegant breakfast buffet.

The rooms are not air-conditioned. And there are no ceiling fans. (probably in keeping with the historical nature of this building.) A room fan would have sufficed. The room had a balcony but it was not accessible. To be clear. neither of these issues changes my "tens across the board" review. It is merely informational.

We came to Menfi to meet with a winemaker. We chose to stay in town for the night. Based on reviews and price, this met our needs. Once we checked in and saw the space and the room and well the beauty and comfort of this place, it exceeded our needs and met all our desires. We were there for one night. I wish we knew what else awaited us in Menfi because we could have stayed in this place forever. It is spacious, well-appointed, clean, friendly, family-owned, and operated. Sicilian breakfast. easy on-street parking. safe area. would stay there again.

The Sicilian breakfast on the outside terrace in the upstairs courtyard was a tasty and beautiful way to start the day. Silvio & team were incredible helpful and kind a well rounded stay in a beautiful restored house.

AC did not cool our room. Even set at 18c and run all night it was warm in the morning. AC is covered with wood and blows in a direction away from the bed. Also, Memfi itself is not very charming. Feels deserted. So while the property is charming, I’d recommend people stay elsewhere.

Amazing old palazzo with beautiful bougainvillea. Very nice rooms - lots of space.
