The pods provided for the coffee machine were not to our liking, we found the coffee weak in flavour and intensity. However, that may be a matter of taste. Overall, this apartment is wonderful and I would highly recommend it!!

Excellent location in the Sassi Barisano. Very spacious apartment, beautifully decorated with many details and so well equipped - it has everything you would need! The hosts are kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Mary and Alberto.

The air purifier was a little loud during the night whilst sleeping

The breakfast was a variety of cakes, biscuits, cereal and toast with yoghurt. It was plentiful and yummy. The location was great and the accommodation was wonderful, very clean, very comfortable beds, cpillows and beautiful linen to sleep in. Dry tasteful decor, everything was beautiful and lots of seating areas. 10/10

It is a unique experience staying in this loft. It is really well appointed with everything we needed and really spacious & gorgeous. We were given 5 star service & absolutely nothing was a problem - even when we accidentally locked the door with the key inside!

Very big apartment in the center of Matera, within walking distance of every main visit point. The decoration was lovely, breakfast great with homemade cake and biscuits. Alberto and Mary were wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay there special. Absolutely recommended for your stay in Matera!

The house is amazing and located right in the heart of Matera! The beds are very comfortable, there are 2 bathrooms and the cleanliness is perfect. We felt like at home. From the moment we arrived, I felt at home and assured that we picked the right place. Alberto spent so much effort to make us feel comfortable, the welcome handover was very useful and informative. The house was very clean, excellent standards and very functional with everything you need as if you’re at home. The small details, interior decor and comfy beds and linens were just perfect. They even baked a cake, some sweets upon arrival - even freshly squeezed juice, milk and water. We travelled with our 9 month old daughter- they didn’t just provide a cot, they even made sure the linens in the cot were pink. They even provided a baby bottle warmer- Thank you so much, so thoughtful! Perfect location with only 3 minutes walk to Piazza San Pietro. Restaurants within 2 mins walk - La Talpa and Oi Maria highly recommended. Mary, the host, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was something for us to remember. She suggested and booked the restaurant reservations, places to go, booked our tour, suggested where to buy my fiancée’s birthday cake and even suggested the right place for me to propose to my fiancée- needless to say, the communication was impeccable! I am so grateful, couldn’t thank you enough! Thank you Alberto and Mary, for making our stay one to remember for the rest of our lives.

Mary's home is the top.it's artistic, convenient and full of beautiful details. and don't mention the perfect location! And Mary is an unbelievable host, she really cares about every small needs of her guests even it's midnight I believe you can still reach her in one min. The first moment I enter , I felt like home. We felt like been treated as her own real guests. Thank you ! We enjoyed every minute in your perfect " cave".
