How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

What can I say! We are so glad we booked to stay at Dimond Suite as Michele is the most exceptional host. The room’s aesthetic is spectacular. Cleanliness was outstanding (and I have high standards!) and room service was daily with fresh towels and very attentive. The location is excellent, close to centre and port / station/ buses and easy to find your way around. Michele is there on the rare occasion you do need assistance and extremely responsive which was really appreciated. The room and apartment building is gate so felt very safe and quiet at night ensuring a good night’s rest after a busy day exploring the amalfi coast. Fridge in room was a nice touch to be able to store drinks / iced coffees for an early morning acclimatisation on the lovely balcony and started the day off right. Bed was so comfy which can be rare these days! Cannot recommend enough and when we come back we won’t stay anywhere else!

Almost nothing, the only thing that could've used improvement is very common in most rooms I've seen and it's that the faucet and shower heads could use a little mineral stone cleaning but nothing that really bothered us.
First of all, Michele greeted us with a warm welcome, helped us in whatever we needed and at any time of the day. Secondly, the room was beautiful with big comfortable beds and really good facilities. In addition to that, the location is very good really close to the center of the city, in a good and safe area of the town and is well secured. In conclusion our stay was as good as we could've asked for.

We had a wonderful stay at Diamond Suite Sorrento! The host was truly exceptional—so caring, kind, and always quick to respond whenever we had questions. His communication was fast and clear, and he provided the best guidance for anything we needed during our trip, from local recommendations to transportation tips. The place itself was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and perfectly located right in the heart of the city center. What made the experience extra special was how the host treated us—not just as guests, but more like family. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. We will definitely come back and stay here again. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sorrento—you’ll be in great hands!

This suite was exceptional. Located close to the train station and within walking distance to everything. Only a short 10 minute walk to the ferry. Michele was an exceptional host and went above and beyond before and after our stay. Great recommendations.

Location was perfect. Close to all bus, train and ferry services. Close to Old Town. Plenty of restaurants and local sightseeing within walking distance. Our host, Michele, was extremely helpful providing advice/information during our visit.

The location was amazing, even in a gated area! It’s right down the street from the train/ bus station and within a 3 minute walk to local restaurants and vendors in town. Aside from location, the service and rooms were incredible. Michele made our experience! Definitely see myself coming back the next time I’m in the area!

Nothing except that, in the rush to catch my early morning bus, I forgot to leave a tip.
I stayed at Diamond Suite towards the end of my three week Italy trip and, without being over dramatic, I think it saved the whole experience. I was actually booked into a different place/town but left early because it really wasn’t meeting my needs. Diamond Suites was a comfortable, quiet and convenient reprieve for my last week in Italy and I couldn’t have been happier. Michele is so very kind and helpful - a real gem and I highly recommend this place.

Loved the location. So close to train station and buses. Took the train to Pompeii (buy train tkts in coffee shop) and a bus to Amalfi and Positano. Also bus back to a Naples airport.

Everything, the room was beautiful, the location was fantastic, it was kept so clean during our stay and what what our stay at diamond suite exceptional rather than just very good was the manager Michele. He gave us all the information to make sure that we got the very best out of our week in Sorrento and when something didn’t work out straight away he was always there to sort it. We travel a lot but undoubtedly the best host we have ever had, thanks so much
