Not good variety not value for money There were flies hovering over the cakes and pastries I didn’t realise when I booked it that the hotel is in a building that is only located on the 3rd floor , only way to communicate was to message or call the hotel if there was any problems There’s only 1 person you see that handles the breakfast room, room cleaning and admin- she’s worked very hard and tried her best. It’s not a one person job. The lift is centuries old fortunately it worked well but each time we entered I was fearful of getting stuck in it . At lest in the morning there should be staff on hand to speak to

The ecological system in the toilet makes noise every time you use it. The walls are thin so you can hear noise from the lobby. We used ear plugs and it was OK.

Maria was a great host! She is really an angle. The value for money is good. Good location close to the Spanish stares but far from the colosseum.

The mattress of the beds were need replacement, at least it was a layer of cover, over the two single beds and save the pain of the strings of the mattress.! By the fridge, 2 small bottle of waters, is not big deal. The wifi was not good enough, download 15-23Mbps and upload up to 15Mbps.By put some repeaters, will solve the problem.!

The location was perfect, very close to the old town. Breakfast was very simple.

You can hear people talking in the morning if your room is near the breakfast room. But you're supposed to get up early anyway if you want to see all the attractions in Rome ;)

The place is a bit noisy, the noise from the hallway and reception comes into the rooms. The wifi is very poor, it keeps disconnecting all the time.

The location is great, close to sights and public transport and some restaurants. The breakfast is good and the staff is super friendly. The rooms are nice and clean with decent beds and good bathrooms.

Quite thin walls, some of the things in the bathroom were a little outdated and would need a little of TLC.

Accomodation was really nicely furnished, everything was clean and we had all we needed. Just the walls are a bit thin and you hear everything that happens on the halls. Breakfast was good, everything you need to start your day! And Maria was really a great host!

Comparing the 2 rooms booked between us and our friends, the A/c was cooling at minimum on the highest setting, and the fridge was not working in one of the rooms. It could be a case of simple maintenance as these amenities were working perfectly in the other room. The locker in the cupboard was not functioning either, so I'd recommend making provisions in case something needed to be kept under lock and key. The above would not deter us from booking a room at DG prestige again in the future.

DOUBLE ROOM with breakfast. Our stay at DG prestige was a lovely place in a great location, with lots of bus route to get around the city, and the underground METRO nearby in case you needed it. The breakfast was decent, room (including the bathroom) was clean and tidy. Maria made our stay extra special, serving us a tea/coffee during breakfast, and always checking with us if we needed anything. The restaurant downstairs (IL Fiammifero Strano) have plenty of options on their menu, and are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions as best as possible. There is also a minimarket, pharmacy, and bank ATM's nearby, if you need them.

The location was close to all the attractions. Bus stop very close to the location also. Maria was very friendly and helpful. We were able to do an early check-in and a late checkout for an extra charge.

I missed how to ask for a room make up the 2nd day. I was o.k. with one day of no service when we were exhausted and new. I would have liked a room make-up the 2nd day, but didn't figure out how to communicate that.

We arrived late and the electronic key worked really well. And Maria was a great help for breakfast. The location was close to a great little grocery store and the amazing park!

The accommodation was great, within walking distance of all important sights, yet in a quiet location. The hotel is clean and cozy, the beds are comfortable enough. We really appreciate Maria's care - she was great, kind and helpful. The only thing missing was any glasses or mugs in the room, although there was a kettle. I recommend this accommodation!!!

We were informed via the Booking that we would owe 28 euros in city tax but it cost 40 euros instead. Thankfully we had enough euros on hand.

Beautiful, quiet, safe location away from the crowds yet walking distance to the Colosseum and public transportation. Maria (proprietoress) was a gem - always greeting us with a warm smile at breakfast and hugged us when we left. She was generous and kind and worked hard to ensure that everyone felt cared for and welcomed.

I really have nothing to criticise except that the bed was a bit hard for me personally, but I put a blanket under the sheet for more padding & then it was fine. The water in the shower didn’t stay hot for very long, but it was hot weather so that didn’t really bother us.

The hotel was in a perfect location within easy walking distance of all the sights but quiet with plenty of restaurants nearby & just a hop from the Borghese park. The security was excellent via 3 locked doors but it was easy to access at any time of day or night & we were given special digital instructions to access on first arrival as we had to check in out of hours due to the time of our flight. the staff couldn’t have been more helpful from start to finish. Breakfast was great. The room wasn’t massive but perfectly adequate given that we were really only in it to sleep, & it was spotlessly clean & well furnished & decorated. The price was good compared with other hotels in central Rome.
