Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing! Literally nothing
The best accommodation we've had during our Sicily trip. It was luxurious for sure with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and long hallway, gigantic kitchen and living room. Although Guisy spoke minimum English, she was so helpful and generous. The fridge and kitchen cupboard was filled with drinks and snacks (even got lactose-free options!). The flat was massive and furbished to a super high standard like designer furniture. I could tell this was probably the hostess family home. The balcony overlooked the valley of temple, such a relaxing space. Parking was easy too, very close by and we could drop the luggage at the front first. Flat very quiet, super thick wall and good window

United StatesNo issues. Everything was perfect.
This property was perfect for our family of 6 adults. The apartment is modern, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The provided breakfast items in the kitchen were very nice. Being able to do laundry was a great feature. The balcony has a wonderful view of the ocean and the temples at a distance. The location is perfect, very close to included parking and the center of town. Giusy and her husband welcomed us and were very kind and helpful before and during our stay. Everything was wonderful. Highly recommend!

United KingdomNothing- all perfect
We are still gushing about our stay here. As per previous reviews our host provided so many treats and delights for breakfast and snacks with ham, cheese, yoghurts and a whole range of pastries and local specialty nibbles. There was a great pod coffee machine and a range of soft drinks as well as milk and water. We couldn’t want for more. The apartment itself is super deluxe with all furniture and fittings and comfort of beds. Our host was super helpful and easy to contact. She has a token so you can park in the local station car park - Pirandello - which is just 5 minutes away. The location is superb, essentially in the middle of town with plentiful good dining options, supermarket and shopping a stones throw from the apartment. It is only 10 minutes drive from Valley of the Temples which is what most people would come here for but please allow much more time as during peak times eg night tour, the traffic is so much busier. The apartment has a great balcony where you can relax or dine on and overlook the sea and the Valley of the Temples.

AustraliaA clothes dryer would have helped… appreciated having a washing machine .
Fridge filled with many breakfast options - yoghurt, fruit, eggs, bacon, juices. Great coffee machine that the host showed us how to use. A lift for our luggage saved us hauling bags up the stairs . Fantastic views over the valley of the temples from the balcony and a short drive to get there when we visited . A supermarket a few hundred metres away.

The apartment was immaculate, and so large and well thought out. Our host provided for everything - a beautiful array of snacks and breakfast items (amazing fresh oranges too!) - very nice bathrooms/showers, and such lovely modern decor. It was easily the best stay of our Sicily holiday.

United Statesno parking lot, so got a parking ticket from the front area on the last day (not a designated parking area), which was not horrible but needed to be paid on-line. crossing the street is an adventure without traffic lights, but this is how it is around Sicily, not the Airbnb
great view of the ocean and the greek temples as well as the sunset from the patio clean spacious apartment with 3 bedrooms, spacious living room, nice kitchen functional for quick breakfast/coffee great complimentary snacks, fruits, coffee/tea very nice host who met us, showed the property and also provided great recommendations for local restaurants (Il Pescatore was especially fantastic) close to the center of town (essentially couple of blocks away), near the train station, short drive to the Greek Temples

This is an exceptional stay in a beautiful serviced apartment. Our party of 6 had the most wonderful experience staying at xxx. Firstly, we were warmly welcomed by the host. Secondly, the location is conveniently located in town, safe and more importantly, the view is breathtaking! Thirdly, this apartment exceeded all our expectations - it's spotless, well decorated, cozy, spacious, and had a fully stocked pantry. It was clear that alot of thought and care went into every detail of the space. Our experience was extremely comfortable, and if we were to return, we would book this again without a doubt. Our stay at this apartment at Agrigento was truly memorable! Thank you!

Fantastic spacious apartment with modern design, perfectly equipped, beautiful view to the sea and even the Valley of Temples (the Valley is seen at night after the lights are turned on), great location, 2 mins walk to the historical center with shops, restaurants, bars. Free parking 🅿️ nearby with the card that the owner gave us when we arrived. Signora Giusy is a beautiful lady, very polite, very helpful, very welcoming ! She met us with very delicious Sicilian delights. It is written that breakfast is included and we found a variety of croissants 🥐, butter, biscuits, jam, milk, water and etc in the kitchen. Besides, there are a lot of food markets around in the old town where you can buy fresh cheese, ham and many other yummy Italian products. The best accommodation choice in Agrigento !
