I was disappointed to see the staff smoke in the food areas whilst serving whilst at work. I do not think it is hygienic for staff to pat dogs in the restaurant area whilst also serving food at the tables. The shower had an unpleasant smell at times.

Mix match of furniture/style throughout the hotel and room. It is sad to see that the potential can be enormous. But the current mix match style of furniture does not fit together. It is definitely dated. I would have like to see it in its prime time. Pieces of wall above the toilet were missing.

I liked it all. It isn't a very modern place. Actually the outside structure is absolutely lovely and old world and evocaative. If it were more updated the nightly charge would be much higher.

The breakfast was delicious and ample. The best part was seating on the terrace in front of the sea and enjoying the views of the little bay that looked so inviting and just beyond was a boat basin. There is a safe walkway along the street in front of the hotel right by the sea which takes you safely into the town of Finale Ligure, where you can enjoy getting to know the town. The restaurant at the hotel is first class.

Shower didn’t work properly

Very large room with sea view, nice location near the sandy beach. The air conditioning helped during the heat. The breakfast was very full, a large choice of high quality local products

Location is fine if you have a car as hotelmit is out of town . Beach is very close but access a bit tricky as one has to cross the very busy main road.

Lovely location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room on the first floor leading out on to a large shared balcony. Ate in the restaurant in the evening and had an excellent meal with exceptional service. Breakfast was equally enjoyable.

The charge for the car park at €15 was a pain when there was only one other car. I think in the "off" season they could probably take a view on that.

The hotel was ideal for what I wanted, a stopover after a long day. The bed and shower were really good. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to sort a meal in the evening as I only arrived at 20:30

Very disappointed about the lack of a local swimming opportunity. There is a connection to a local beach, however, there is nobody offering amenities as beachbeds, umbrellas and towels. To enjoy one day at the beach was in fact our reason to select hotel del golf

The management of the facilities does not match neither the glamour of the location nor of the remarkable building. Maintainance of the structure is overall poor for a 4 star hotel and there is little effort both by staff and management to compensate for the drawbacks of a poorly maintained facility. Against this background, rooms and meals, abundant but not impressive in quality, are definitely overpriced

The salty part of the breakfast is poor, especially for the vegeterians. Also, I have payed 3 nights for two adults with brekfast, parking and taxes 730 euros. I think it's a little bit too much, especially one day for the parking costs 15 euros. It should be free, or 5 euros per day for your guests. Parking is big enough, I was there from 27th to 30th July, and the parking was nowhere near full.

Great view from a room, great location, beach throught the tunnel is 2 minutes from the hotel on the walk. You can go to the best beaches in Liguria on foot, by bus, by car (it is possible to find a parking from Monday to Friday). The restaurant where we had a breakfest is on the terrace with the gorgeus view on the see. Love it.

We had two nights att hotel and both days there was problems with electricity, personal tried to explain that is because of my phone which i try to charge???? That was very strange because in the other hotels there was no problems with that and at home neither. The hotel is 4 stars but there is a lack of care of garden - long grass and rubbishes in the garden.

rooms are noisy - you can hear people/children screaming from the beach in front of the hotel on Sunday at 8 am. plus there are so hens in the nearby singing from 5 am. rooms should be sound proofed or actions should be reduce the sound sources
