small room but expected at 3 star hotel the elevator stops a bit abruptly when on the balcony it can smell sometimes of food from the nearby restaurants

very good location in city center, close to ferry and train station, with partial lake view 2 floors hotel but still had an elevator excellent breakfast good fridge and air conditioning modern furniture, room with balcony, large safe, modern bathroom friendly stuff, when asked suggested a good restaurant and made the reservation for me

Not a deal breaker but the elevator was a bit uncomfortable. When it moves it was a bit shaky and when it reaches its stop it lands a bit rough and my friend was always scared

The staff through out my stay was so friendly and willing to help whenever I needed something. The room was superb with a nice balcony, the atmosphere was excellent and exciting. Best location, facility, staff I can recommend it to anyone and I will definitely come back.

This hotel is a little gem. Very clean, light modern rooms, well designed with an extremely functional bathroom and comfortable bed. Lovely soft linen and towels. Cute little balcony with view. Air Con worked really well. Family run, such nice people & couldn't do enough for us. Excellent breakfast, replenished regularly. Used the ferries, the bus and the trains over 4 days. 2 x stations in town. Hotel is less than 100m to lake & ferry, large supermarket around the corner, laundry in the next street. The town is a little stunner and we so enjoyed our visit. Hope we can one day visit again. Thank you Hotel del Conte.

During my stay, there was a group of tourists who seemed to be there just to party, they came back drunk in the middle of the night and woke up the whole floor. I believe this could have been avoided if there had been a 24-hour reception...Aside from that, the rooms are quiet and peaceful.

The location is excellent, right by the ferry stop and train station; there’s also a lovely spot downstairs to enjoy an aperitivo. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean, and everything looked just like in the photos , exactly as described on Booking.

Excellent location. Handy (<100m) to ferry, train and bus. Many restaurants close by. Nice breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. We needed a late check in which was accommodated without fuss. Good lake view from the front rooms and it has a lift. It's summer so it was pretty hot on the balcony but the air-conditioning worked well.

The matress in our room was firm. So, it wasn't very comfortable being a side sleeper. A mattress topper would make it a more comfortable bed. The bed was also around 160×180 so not the biggest of double beds

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is very well kept and clean.The breakfast was a nice selection of bread, pastries, meats, cheeses, tea,coffee boiled eggs, oats nuts, and seads. Great a great location near the ferry, train stations, shops, restaurants and cable car. We arrived past check-in time but were able to access our room easily with instructions that were given prior to arrival.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The staff were really helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent with a really good selection. The location was so convenient just opposite the ferry terminal and the train station. The Lungolago for an evening promenade and a selection of bars and restaurants was just across the road. We had a view of the lake from our room and balcony. We found the hotel to he an excellent base for exploring the area.

The hotel location is good and just opposite of the train station and ferry port.The service is good and the receptionists are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and lots of choice. The room and and the bed are comfort.There is big supermarket Coop is 2 minutes away from hotel, surrounding there are many restaurants and shops.

Perfect little family run hotel opposite the ferry. Staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful including driving us to the local station and helping with luggage onto the platform. Best breakfast offering we’ve had this trip. Grazie mille!

Have been here before. We like the location of this family-run hotel close to the lake, the fact that the hotel is quiet, modern and efficient. Not a big room but enough for a short stay. Good breakfast, not overdone. Wifi works very well. Price/quality is good.

Wonderful hotel in the small town of Laveno. Ideally located in the town centre, close to all facilities (train station, restaurants, gelato bar, supermarket, shops, lago Maggiore). Most rooms have a little balcony with view on the lake which is superb to enjoy a good glass off wine. The hotel interior is modern, of good quality with taste. The staff is lovely a real pleasure to interact with, they will do their utmost best to make your stay enjoyable. Breakfast is what it should be, not excessive but has a decent variety and above all of excellent quality. Definitely a good choice, we did not regret it one bit
