How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

It didn’t really bother me, but folks who are disturbed by city noise should bring earplugs. This is in a historic location where lots of people live and work - not a hotel!
Wonderful attentive host! He was very considerate and made sure I was all settled and comfortable. The space was great and what a wonderful location!!

Great position for Old Town. Very clean and a little quirky. Not sure about the see through bathroom but heyho.

Could have done with instructions for the TV as not easy to use. A little noisy at times.
The location was perfect right in the old town but easy to reach. The place is surrounded by great restaurants & tourist attractions. The room is very well done, great lighting, very clean, great big shower, lots of towles etc. Plenty of coffee, great coffee machine & small fridge.

The only thing is We could of used more towels for how long we stayed and was a little noisy.
Such a cute place. Loved that it was in the old town, walking distance to everything you need. Owner was very helpful with anything you needed and organized us a transfer for us.

The property was lovely and very clean, check in and out was very easy with the host, who stayed in contact our whole stay which was nice. Great location. Well worth a stay.

No windows are a tough moment, only aircon makes it uneasy with wet air after shower etc, a bit noisy due to location.
Beautiful pure design, super comfirtable beds, perfect location, very helpful owner.

Great location, furnished to a high standard with comfy bed. Spotlessly clean with good air conditioning. Externally advertised security cameras gave a safety feel. Coffee machine with ample pods of coffee. Host Danielle attentive and helpful.

Lack of some utensils; spoons to stir your sugar and coffee/tea and proper coffee mugs/cups rather than this plastic ones not suitable for hot drinks. Otherwise perfect :)
Comfortable, cozy, stylish. Fantastic location to old town Bari with plenty of places to shop and eat. Great communication from the host.

Hardly any complaints, to improve the stay to a spectacular one, it would be great if the shower had more pressure, it was a bit on the low pressure side.
Elegant luxurious interior design with character, great location, very comfortable bed.

Most photos were with the tub, but there is also a room with just shower, pay attention when booking. No windows, so the humidity from the shower stayed in the room, the air was always wet a bit stinky (like when you usually don't air the room).
Nice walk in shower. Nice, prompt host, could also arrange airport transfer. Everything nee in the room, also very clean.

W/C is actually in the room separated only by TV stand. Very humid room. Towels were all three days wet. Bathrobes were dirty.

The bathroom floor was quite slippery when wet and the stairs that connect the bedroom area with the bathroom area lacked a hand rail and was a bit awkward and dangerous. Lack of windows made the place feel a little like a cave. It was also not very insulted from the noisy street with many loud motorcycles and church bells interrupting our sleep. There was also a very strong odor of perfume in the place that was stifling. The owner handled our entry and exit from the property very well with a key box.

The toilet is connected with the room without a door
Great location in the heart of old Bari. 10 min walk to the main shopping streets, 20 min to Bari Centrale. The host Daniel is an amazing young man, super helpful, offered to pick us up from the airport and gave us lots of advice on where to go. He also helped us book restaurants in advance.

If anything at all and it comes with the choice, so no regretts there, but if the neighbour is watching Italy play footy on his TV, you will be hearing it too! (not sure who won on the night :) )
Great location, in the old town, if you want to experience living like the locals do on the first floor of an ancient building with front door wide open, this is one great choice you will not regret

No luggage room for the luggage and we had to leave it in the car all day long in order to visit the city .
The room met our expectations and Daniel the host was amazing. Thanks for everything - we will definitely come back

There was a bathroom in the room, without any door, so it was very uncomfortable for a couple A lot of humidity inside and noise from the street
