We were impressed by the magnificent view of the port from the shared terrace, which our room had access to. The hosts were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was a fantastic way to start our day.

The shower had some black spots in the corners and the water pressure was low. It's worth noting that the hosts can walk on the terrace, so you need to close the shutters for privacy. Another point is that breakfast is prepared in the common room starting around 7:30 a.m., so it can be a bit noisy in the morning.

The mom of the owner insulted us violently because we left the AC on during the night. La mere du propriétaire nous a insulté violament car nous avions laissé la clim allumée durant la nuit. La madre del proprietario ci ha insultato violentemente perché avevamo lasciato l'aria condizionata accesa durante la notte. die Mutter des Vermieters hat uns heftig beschimpft, weil wir die Klimaanlage über Nacht angelassen haben In the morning while we were sleeping, at around 7:30am. the lady "mom of the owner" entered the appartement and started to slam doors in a hysterical manner, and screaming that we left the air conditioning ON during the night, she screamed insults in Italian such as "che bastardi di merda" or "che stronzi" or "turisti di merda". At this point we felt really unsafe. My wife was really scared so we had to pack our bags and leave without taking breakfast. While leaving, we told that we don't feel welcome and best to leave, the lady, instead of giving apologies continued to scream at us. This created a really shocking moment for us.

The view! Also, Very clean, and Alessandro and his mother were so nice and helpful.

Luckily Alessandro Met us as the top floor location in a plain looking building might have been hard to find.

The location was amazing and they offered us food in the morning. The host was super helpful and responsive. The place itself was very nice and the views were wonderful. We had a great time and a lot of fun.

Difficult to find from the street, an exterior sign would be helpful

The bests hosts, Domitilla showered us with warmth the whole time and her son Alessandro was extremely responsive to any questions we had. The room was kept extremely clean by our hosts. Great breakfast on the terrace, panoramic views, and location (especially for those without a car). Also in 5-20 min walking distance to beautiful crystal clear beaches, Ghiae, Padullela, Capo Bianco.

The location is great for convenience when catching a ferry or bus, but that also means you’re in the main port area compared to the old town which has more restaurants and the old Italian town feel. Not a big issue since the old town was only ~15 mins away.

The central location and views were wonderful. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious.. Breakfasts was fantastic. We were really looked after by the owners who were helpful and friendly.

Mama and Alessandro are great hosts and we felt super welcomed. They even provided gluten free options for breakfast upon our request. The place is clean, with all amenities, a huge terrace with an incredible view and very well located, close to the ferries and to the buses that take you anywhere on the island. Portoferraio old town is at walking distance.

One of our best stays so far! The room is very clean and the towels were changed everyday. The terrace is spacious and has an amazing view on the island. But the best thing are the owners, Alessandro and his mom. They made our stay so special because they were really kind-hearted and considerate. One of the best parts was the breakfast and the energy that they were giving us. For us this stay is a big recommandation.

Nothing I can think of

Great location in Portoferraio, especially if you have a rental. There is free parking right next to the building. The host was very friendly and prepared a nice spread for breakfast. Great view of the port from the 8th story.

Access to the location is not obvious where to go from the street, just talk to the host and he will take you up to the room.
