Augusto was an absolutely amazing host! The room was extremely comfortable and the view was beautiful. Super super close to the Vatican and plenty of restaurants and shops below to keep you busy!! I would definitely stay here again and again!!

We loved everything! A fridge in the room would have been a nice extra, but we knew there wasn't one when we booked so we weren't expecting it.

Augusto was very welcoming and gave us loads of information on places to visit. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was across the hall and very clean with all toiletries provided. Breakfast was much more than we expected! Fruit, fresh pastries, fresh eggs.......! Location was fantastic, just a few minutes walk from metro and Vatican city.

I would recommend the host to provide bathrobes and slippers due to the bathrooms being outside the room. Without those you either have to take clothes and your usual shoes in the bathroom or get out in the hall only in towels and barefoot, which is inconvenient. Other than this, everything has exceeded my expectations

The host was very welcoming and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was adapted to the guest, which is both nice for the guest and good for the environment. The host even provided toothbrush and toothpaste, which are quite uncommon in hotels. I also got enough towels, water, normal shampoo and body wash, etc.

Our stay was a unique experience! The apartment is in a great location, right next to the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's Basilica. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the breakfast had a variety of options and was very tasty. However, the best part was the host himself, Augusto. Augusto is a special person, very kind, and always willing to help, from the smallest thing to the most important. I truly recommend it without hesitation, and if we visit Rome again, we will definitely stay here!

Perfect location. Perfect host. He provided us with tips where (not) to go and what (not) to do. Every morning he asked if we had wishes regarding breakfast. He also gave his mobile number in case we would have any questions or problems.

Augusta is very friendly and offers many useful tips. His English is very good. He makes a freat cuppa coffee. Location is great. Basically, next to Vatican. Also about 100m from Metro station, which offers dead easy access to the inner city where many of the historical sites are.

Road works outside the place were noisy, so I had to close the window . No big deal . They are scheduled to be finished end of October.

Great location. Vatican museum 5 mins walk. Subway train station 3 mins walk. Supermarket across the road. Best of all was the owner, absolutely wonder guy. I travel a lot and have stayed at many establishments, but have never met an owner so helpful and as knowledgeable as Augusto. A really genuine person that made my stay home from home. Will always stay here if I go back to Rome.

It was super clean and so convenient. Best part is that the host is so sweet and guides you well about the city. The metro station is a 3-4 minute walk and trevi fountain is only 15 minutes away. I loved staying here.

We spent two lovely days at **Da Augusto** in Rome, and it was truly a fantastic experience! Augusto was the perfect host—cool, welcoming, and incredibly informative. He gave us fantastic tips on how to make the most of our time in the city, including the best ways to navigate transport to and from the airport and train station, which made everything so easy. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast Augusto prepared for us each morning, setting the perfect tone for our day. The location of Da Augusto is unbeatable—right beside the Vatican and within walking distance to all the main attractions. It made exploring Rome a breeze! The apartment itself had lovely Italian decor, full of charm and personality. We particularly loved the funky old-school lift and the access to the roof, which gave us beautiful views of the city. It felt like a truly authentic Roman experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we’re already dreaming of returning. Thank you, Augusto, for making our stay so memorable!

Mr. Augusto is a very warm-hearted person. I think it is very nice both in terms of room cleanliness and location. The breakfast was also very nice. It fully deserves to receive high scores. If I visit Rome again it will definitely be my first choice to stay again.

First and foremost Augusto is the perfect host. His place has a fantastic location, and beds are comfortable and everywhere is exceptionally clean. Augusto provided a great breakfast and mapped out our day on a map with the best attractions and things to see/avoid. He is so kind and we would recommend him and his place to anyone! The perfect introduction to Rome for our family.

In the quad room there is a bunkbed for the kids. The top railing has a large gap and I thought my kids might roll out. So we had a parent sleep on the top bunk. Wasn't the most comfortable for an adult, but we made it work for safety. Would be great to have a mini fridge in the room.

The location of this property is amazing, just 5min from the Vatican. It was also conveniently located near a metro stop and bus stop. The host was wonderful and cooked us a great breakfast and gave nice tips for what to eat/explore in the area. One day he wasn't going to be available for breakfast so gave us vouchers for a restaurant around the corner, which was also great. Just make sure you look at the photos and understand what you are booking. This is a B&B. We had a quad bedroom with a private bathroom, but the bathroom was not in the room (had to leave the room to get to it). Everything was as pictured.

Really fabulous stay all around! I visited with my 11 year old son and it was such a great place to stay! Breakfast was excellent, the rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. My son was skeptical about the shared bathroom but it wasn't a problem at all. The location means that is it easy to get around Rome and Augusto helped so much with helping us planning a walking route/places to visit. Make sure to ask him where to get to the best gilatto in Rome. We also arrived late due to a delayed plane and had some problems with our tran tickets and he was very helpful with both issues even though it wasn't his problem at all. I think you'd really struggle to find a nicer place for at this budget.
