Family run hotel and staff are all friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great you won't complain about the pricing for food and wine. We were there for 3 days and ate our evening meal (and one lunch) in the restaurant. Samwell and Tatiana were lovely and looked after us very well. Ample parking and hotel 20 minute walk to Assisi or 5 minutes by car to the nearest car park. Perugia a easy half hour drive. Pool is great.

Amazing staff and the restaurant is very authentic excellent Italian food. On Thursday and Friday night they have seafood which is superbly cooked and the pizza and pasta is exceptional

The noise of the chairs and tables being moved around above us started from 5/5.30 am it was very annoying and woke us up every morning!!

The dinner was delicious but it was very basic for breakfast, not a lot to choose from. Pool was great could do with a poolside snack bar.

The breakfast could be better (very few non-sweet options), if I had it before I tried dinner, I'd have avoided it.

The location is perfect. The restaurant is really good for dinner or lunch. The pool was really great and clean.

Room was small with view of parking lot. Other rooms had nicer views, but I heard uncomfortable beds, so I stayed in mine where bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast ok, no cooked food other than hard boiled eggs. Good coffee. Restaurant popular for dinner- very good and friendly staff. Nice location if you don't mind being out of town. Swimming pool very nice feature, terrace off dining room with beautiful views.

We loved the view of the valley from our room, the totally relaxing ambiance of the hotel grounds including the outdoor restaurant with fabulous view and pool area.  We loved the location which was outside the old city walls and therefore very but a very pleasant easy walk to the town gates. Great restaurant staff and great food.

It is a little way out of Assisi, needs a bus ride into town. The pool was closed even though the weather was in high 20s at start of October.

Clean en suite room. Great customer service. Good restaurant on site. Excellent value for money.

We enjoyed our two nights at this family run hotel which had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The location of the hotel (its proximity to Assisi) was exactly as described - about a kilometre away and for us, easily walkable. The hotel also had a very nice swimming pool! There were some fabulous views from the outdoor dining area, and a good range of reasonably priced meals to choose from meant we had a nice relaxing couple of evenings there after a day in Assisi (very well worth a visit). The staff were helpful in explaining some of the menu (that we couldn’t translate using Google!) - they were very patient with us and for that we were grateful.

Lovely elevated location, food and pool with a comfortable nights sleep and good shower. Air con on a hot day. Great welcome too. Easy parking on site.

That was the best place to stay for the family of pilgrims after a long journey. I should also say the staff was waiting for us until the late night as we had been late and settled us in when the whole hotel slept. A great view of the valley is a substantial bonus to your stay.

Staff was very unfriendly. Restaurant was horrible. We ate lunch in arrival and breakfast the next .morning. Both meals were bad. Room and halls were filled with mosquitos. Also know beforehand there is no elevator. Incredibly small shower.

They put us on the upper floor in a hotel with no elevator. When we asked if we could change to a lower area they refused. I was having difficulty with my legs and we are both in our 80s. We had dinner there one evening and we’re disappointed. The vegetable soup was made from frozen vegetables. Not very tasty.

It was easy to come and go and explore the area. There was ample parking.
