It was quite difficult for us to find food if we wanted to stay in. The restaurant is very popular and requires pre-booking. Some information about where to locally pick up takeaways or groceries would be helpful. The road doesn’t have many places to turn and parking can be hard so if you don’t know what you are looking for it can be frustrating- we ended up at the same pizza place for 3 out of our 5 nights.

Lovely hotel. We had the junior suite plus an additional room. There are 5 of us and we are all between 5”9 and 6”4 but it never felt cramped. The room was calm and peaceful with beautiful views across the lake. The suite has an adorable balcony - which I enjoyed sitting on for my early morning cup of tea while everyone else slept. Our rooms were cleaned and restocked daily, usually while we were at breakfast. There were two bathrooms equipped with showers within the suite. The pool and gardens were clean and not overly busy. Access to the lake for swimming was simple and uncrowded. We took a family wakeboard lesson and Alex, our instructor, was very helpful, clear and patient. Breakfast was continental and enjoyed on the veranda. The staff team were all lovely and helpful.

Far from being "things I didn't like," a smart TV and a small air conditioning unit could have been a great additional value.

I loved the location of the hotel. Far from overcrowded areas, you can find around the lake. The staff is accommodating and always willing to help out. If you decide to eat there, you'll have a great return on value. The food is fresh and delicious. I saw fresh fish being delivered with my own eyes. The pool is big enough, and we could enjoy it in a calm and friendly environment. The room and shower room are a perfect size for two people. If you come by car, there will be plenty of space to park, and it will take you only 15 minutes to drive to Bellagio.

Room was very small but we knew that on booking.

The staff, were lovely and very low key. We loved how we felt like we were staying with extended family. The breakfasts were excellent and very well attended by staff. Restaurant is also excellent.

Beautiful location, a true hidden gem in Como. Small family-owned hotel by the lake. Great pool, access to swim in a lake. Delicious breakfast and super good restaurant!

The furniture is a bit old, especially the shower. The breakfast wasn't so rich.

Amazing view of Como. The hotel is located at the lake, you can take a nice walk along it. There is enough parking space. The restaurant at the hotel was very good, always delicious dishes and friendly service. There are a lot of cats around that place, so it was an advantage for us :)

Best place we have stayed at, the staff were amazing, friendly & assisted with anything. The room was clean the restaurant was high quality food and the location was perfect, close to everything & the parking was free at the hotel. We will be coming back again, family friendly hotel, HIGHLY recommend for families & couples.

A little bit cold in the evening, but I think they stop with the heating in April in Italy.

The room was great, very comfortable bed, clean, minimalistic and functional. Also great view on the lake and quiet area. Breakfast was yummy, coffee was good and employees/owners were great. We also ate dinner there and it was very good. They also have a private parking and great wine cellar.

There is no AC in the room. We tried to open the windows but there were no nets, so insects came inside. It was too hot which made it hard to sleep. No small fridge in the room.

The view is perfect, location is nice, staff is friendly.

You need a reservation for the restaurant if you want to have dinner there, they didn’t tell this to us, but managed to give us a table. An air conditioner would have been nice in the room.

Everything was amazing! The view is beautiful from the hotel, the room was nice and clean. The restaurant and breakfast was also perfect, everyone was really kind and attentive.:)

The only thing we missed was the air conditioning in our room.

The hotel has a beatiful location, and amazing view for breakfast and for dinner from the restaurant. The room was small but functional with nice and clean bathroom. The hotel staff was kind and helpful. They found solution for all of our requests and problems. The breakfast offered wide variety of choices, even glutenfree option was available. We enjoyed our stay there.

We got the feeling that they put more effort into the restaurant then the hotel itself, while the room had a very nice view cleanliness can be improved as there were small patches of black mold in shower, light fixture was full of bugs, and celling and walls had bug splatter stains left on them. Also pool was pretty much unusable as it was full of bugs and mosquitos also was quite dirty. Also while it's not included in the description there is no AC in the rooms, while we got a fan it was still very hot in the summer so thats something to keep in mind. Also it take's about 1HR to arrive to city centre from hotel and bus comes only once every 45 min. Overall if your looking for a budget stay in Lake Como this is an alright place, but going next time we would book something at a higher price point.

Amazing view from the hotel right on the lake, great restaurant and food was really good. Great breakfest included as well!
