How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Is just all perfect. The best experience ever.
It was the best hostel I have had been. All perfect. All the staff were lovely and friendly. The location is perfect 10 minutos from the train station. I honestly love it. I would live there hahahaha I hope be back soon.

Extremely friendly staff, making you very much feel welcome and happy to help with any questions you may have! The hostel is not too big, and has a family feel to it. Everyone was very friendly and sociable and coffee is ready when you wake up 🙌🏻 Thanks for the perfect ending to my trip 🫶🏻

Clean, cosy and relaxing. Incredibly welcoming staff and inviting shared spaces. Easy communication, and staff able to provide recommendations as locals in the area.

absolutely nothing
located in a great area only about a 9-10 minute walk from the train station. super comfortable beds and regular cleaning of facilities.

The staff were so lovely and the place felt incredibly warm and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and the bathroom was much nicer than usual hostels. The kitchen was really well stocked and there was lots of free food, and they even provided a pasta dinner one night during my stay.

It was one of the best hostel I have stayed at. It was beautiful. The staff was super friendly and the facilities were great. There are many coffee shops and restaurants near by as well as the train station to go Cinque Terre and Portofino.

The orientation at check-in was very informative and engaging. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I’ve stayed at many hostels, but this was by far the nicest and sweetest experience I’ve had. Also, the evening snack events in the common areas were a great way to meet and mingle with other guests. The location is very central and close to the train station. Free snacks, tea, and coffee are also available. I highly recommend this place!!!!

Too expensive for a hostel. This is the most expensive hostel that I have ever stayed at. I don’t know if it’s the time of the season or when I booked. Too pricy for a hostel where you share the space with six other female.
Every aspect of this hostel is so customer focused and even small things are considered like seperate rack for free things, all kinds of sunscreens, nail polish etc for use, kitchen with eatables and free milk , bed is so comfortable and a small space near bed for keeping phone while charging for example. It is super customer centric. Clean bathrooms, clean rooms, clean kitchen and when I went they did not have WiFi working , instead of saying it didn’t work they provided me with hot spot!!! Customer centric place 💯 nice balcony and working ac too. Extremely friendly staff and owner!

None, everything was covered and splendid
What's not to like? From the moment I walked in, Andrea greeted me with a warm welcome. The staff such as Camila is friendly and helpful, not one question was too much and they gave a lot of recommendations. The atmosphere in the hostel is lively but at the same time homey. The rooms are clean and they get checked regularly, the shared bathrooms as well! The common space is a nice way to get to know other travellers. What makes this hostel different than others is all the free extras: breakfast, pasta pesto night, coffee, tea, water, towels, ... Grazie mille!

I stayed for only one night, but it's a great place. The staff was super friendly. The beds were comfortable, there was A/C in the rooms which in such hot weather was more than welcome, but there were blankets for the night if it got too cold. The place feels very welcoming, very "hostel vibes" :) The bathrooms were clean and comfortable to use. Perfect for making your stay if you want to go to Cinque Terre because it's close to the train station.

The staff were so kind and helpful, they helped me book tickets for Cinque Terre and went out of their way to show hospitality. The kitchen is stocked to make your own tea/coffee and a fridge to store your food. Overall it was such a cosy place with only a small number of guests which made it feel a lot more personal rather than one random traveller amongst the masses.

The property was very nice and clean! Not a big hostel, which makes it even easier to meet other people. The managers even made a fresh pasta dinner for all the guests one night.
