There was one man who was sort of prowling nearby, but that had little to do with the location, and more to do with that I was a solo female traveler. The bedroom window did not lock.

The location was excellent, and in walking distance to restaurants and points of interest.

The apartment is right next to the street (it opens directly onto the street), so sometimes it can be a bit noisy, especially in the evenings, when the night life kicks off. The windows are also very tiny, it's not so easy to ventilate properly unless you open the front door to let in some fresh air, but it also allows people passing by to see inside. That said, it's all part of the local armosphere and charm.

The bed was a little too hard on my back, but it might be just a personal thing. Since the accommodation is on the ground floor, it doesn't have windows - it's not very typical for houses to have windows on the ground floor in Bari anyway, so this isn't an exclusive feature and it wasn't a big problem for me at all, but it might be for some people. My experience could've been improved if there was a microwave and some utensils in the room. Sometimes I wanted food for takeaway but had nothing at home to heat it up with. For budget travellers these basic facilities could be of use!

Mima was a very kind and caring landlord. She was very welcoming and helpful when I experienced some issues with the payment - she quickly calmed me down and gave me time to fix it up. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet (I'm a solo female traveler), although I sleep with earplugs, at night there is barely any noise. The accommodation is very close to some of the best restaurants in Bari, within walking distance of the main tourist attractions, cathedrals and basilicas. It's very clean, free toiletries and shower gels are provided which is a bonus! Overall, it's a very comfortable place to stay if you want to explore the old town and move around freely.

Mimma was very nice and accommodating. the location in Bari vecchio was what we wanted. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfasts at the outdoor cafe.

The room was on the lowest level of building and when there was noise on the street, you felt like you are actually on the street.

The apartment is very cozy, in heart of old town. The breakfast is in front of a cathedral, so you'll start everyday with beautiful view. The streets of old town seem like wall of beautiful labyrinth, but you'll get used to it. I suggest to take different route to the apartment every time you go there, because you'll always discover something new. The communication with owner was seamless. If you are traveling on budget and want to have cozy apartment, that is close to everything then this is what you're searching for.

I liked everything but would alert travelers that there is a separate entrance and you should coordinate your arrival for easy access.

Very roomy and clean. Air conditioned and TV, nice large bathroom. Great location in the center but easy walk to lots of restaurants and train station.

Finding it initially was challenging, to say the least. noisy motorbikes being allowed in the old town and the same one kept going by one evening. At last a neighbor told him to stop.

ground floor. in the old town of Bari (Bari vecchio). once we familiarized ourselves with the location ( this area has “maze-like” layout), it was very walkable to sites in the area.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable. We just didn’t like that we had to wake up early at 9am just to receive the breakfast card. We were a bit tired from our late flight the night before, so it was a bit of a hassle to wake up early.

The location which is in the Old Town. Many restaurants and cafés are within walking distance. The host let us leave our bags after checkout.

The owner could have been more helpful with suggestions of restaurants etc. we asked how to get to Alberbotello and she just told us to get a bus. breakfast was at a cafe near the cathedral - coffee and delicious croissant but that would have been inconvenient if the weather had been wet as there was only one small table inside.

The location was superb and we loved being in the middle of the old town although we did get lost numerous times!

The entrance in the appartment is straight from the Street into the living room, which had a sofa and a small unconfortable bed, put together to form a “bed” for two. We asked for an appartment for 4, but there was not enough space to stand all 4 or put our 4 luggages. The entire appartment (livingroom and bedroom) is very small but the bathroom is even smaller and very unconfortable for an average High person. The appartment has only one very small window so you can see every person on the Street (even to touch them ) and to hear all the scooters Crossing the Street Starting 6 am. Smell in the property was absolutely awfull, because of the fungus on the walls. We were announced at 8.40 in the morning, by the person who came at the door to collect money, that they only accept cash
