How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very friendly staff, Pasqualle is very helpful in any aspect, always smiling and spreading Italian charm around. We arrived when season was over and hotel location is good for high season being the next step to the beach

No complaints other than the fact that the dining room was quite hot and stuffy at dinner time so we ate at an outside place down the road
Super location, we had a generous suite and even facing the road on the third floor it was very quiet. The staff were excellent and let us park right in front of the hotel.

Nothing...everything was just great.
Great location of the hotel being close to the sea. The personal were extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much and when staying in the region in the future will surely come back and definitely advise a stay at Hotel Corallo to everybody.

Everything was clean but they need to update the bed spread as it makes the room look old.

If the hotel was full of people during the weekend it was very noisy (little kids crying during night and it was heard in almost all hotel, paper walls). I would prefer more variable breakfast (fruit and vegetables) since only sweet pastries was not enough for us.
The location was perfect, almost beachfront and near restaurants/bistro and minimarket. View was very nice from the balcony, we could see the sea. The staff was very kind even if not many of them spoke English. The breakfasts including freshly prepared very good Italian coffee were delicious. I also want to praise the room service (maid), she perfectly cleaned our room every day (lot of sand from the beach) and changed some towels.

I ordered 2 double beds and one crib. You gave us one double bed one unsafe bunk beds for the children and one playpen without our approval. Ages of children 1,3,6. The room was too small, uncomfortable and unsafe. Very disappointed. Will never come again and will never recommend

Staff were not helpful. We arrived after 2.00pm and asked where we could eat. The told us the name of a cafe 3 doors up but it was closed that day. We asked if we could order eggs for breakfast and the answer was no. The break fast offered did not look fresh. We discovered the hotel next door,San Marco, and asked if we get eggs for breakfast and even though we weren’t staying there they accommodated us. We asked about their beach location and were vaguely told to go across the road. Their private beach was actually 200 meters away. No beach towels were offered.

The hotel is wonderful, in front of the sea, very elegant and very clean. The staff is lovely, very kind and helped us with any request. The breakfast had great and fresh food. The restaurant food was great! We have been in several hotels in the area and this hotel was the best. We will definitively return. Thank you very much to the staff!

Wonderful modern hotel. Friendly staff. Breakfast had both sweet and savory selection, with freshly made coffee and tea selection. Spacious room with comfortable bedding. Shower had wonderful water pressure. Great location on beach front close to restaurants and shopping. We have been staying at this hotel for the past 5 years on a regular basis. It’s by far the best in the area. Highly recommend it to other guests.
