The hotel is obviously investing in its wellness facilities to compete with other hotels in the same area. However despite it saying the policy was no under 15s in the hot tub there were lots of children including babies in it.

Hotel in a great location right on the lake with a nice pool and a terrace overlooking the lake. The room was a good size with a decent balcony space. We had booked a partial lake view room and got probably more than I was expecting. Staff were helpful.

The only thing was when we wanted to use the spa on one rainy day, it was unfortunately out of order, but not a problem at all in the grand scheme of things.

The location, the hotel and our entire stay could not have been better. Everyone was so friendly, the rooms were super clean and tidy. All food at the hotel was great and it was in a brilliant location.

Checkout. I wanted to use my AMEX card and was asked to use a Visa. I do carry a Visa for emergencies, only. When asked why they would not take the AMEX, I was told that the hotel did not want to pay the AMEX commission.

Appeared to be an excellent family run hotel. Incredibly friendly staff, reception were superb. Wonderful outdoor area overlooking the lake with a great swimming pool and lake access.

The breakfast is very basic. Why not bring the best cheese, sausages, pastry Italy is famous for. This would not require much more money. The veggies and fruits might be also better. Small thoughtful effort here might produce much better reviews, more clients and eventually profit for the hotel.

I had a very unpleasant experience during breakfast. I've traveled all over the world, but this is the first time I've received service worse than a B&B at a 4-star hotel. When I ordered tea and a teapot from the waiter for breakfast, he told me to get the tea and water myself from the self-service bar. At first, I was bewildered, but I let it go, thinking that might be the limit of this hotel's service. However, I then saw tea and teapots with hot water being served at the next table and all the other tables upon their request. When I asked the waiter to explain this situation, he acted like it was nothing problem then said he would bring it. - he should have explained why. I spoke to the restaurant manager, and he apologized, saying the staff member made a mistake. I didn't think it was discrimination because I'm Asian or that they were disregarding a guest. The level of the staff's service at a 4-star hotel's breakfast service was so upsetting on the morning of my checkout that it almost ruined my trip

Location was VERY tough to get to and leave by car, would highly recommend not driving there! Directions by GPS were very poor. Second, we were both surprised of the 2' X 3' shower, thankful we are small people. Way too tight for any kind of comfort. 6 sq ft! Also, for a wellness center, and beautiful spa, only ONE masseuse to manage all, and she closed at 13:00 on Sundays and took Monday off. Very surprising.

The only comment on this would be that the toilet facilities were perhaps limited with anyone at the pool having to got through the main lobby and public area to get to he toilets. The hot breakfast bar was a bit limited and could be cool on eating. These were not however enough to prevent total enjoyment of the holiday.

All aspects of accommodation and experiences at the hotel were excellent with a warm welcome and friendly staff. the general ambiance of the hotel was top quality with a relaxed atmosphere throughout. The rooms were well decorated and spotless throughout our stay with large sized balconies and top quality linens and fittings. The outdoor areas around the pools an the lake were most comfortable and enjoyable. the location was neat the centre of the town but far enough from the madding crowd that Sirmione always attracts.

The bar staff were very slow. No one from one shift came to clear any glasses from by the pool. Bar snacks : menu very limited. Restaurant formal as requires trousers for men and too fancy for us as a family. The menu did look nice and we enjoyed going out to restaurants.

The location was stunning. The drive to the hotel was interesting driving mid afternoon through tiny bustling streets felt precarious. The pool area was great and being able to jump into the lake from the pontoon was a plus. Walking to shops, restaurants and Jamaica beach was easy.

The location, facilities and staff were excellent. The property is a short walk from the heart of Sirmione and is quiet. The view from the rooms and pool were excellent. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was great with lots of choice.

There is nothing not to like about Hotel Continental. We had an amazing holiday.

I would highly recommend Hotel Continental, it is always my first choice when travelling to Sirmione. The staff are exceptional and always offer a high standard of customer service. The rooms are spacious and clean. I would recommend the suites with amazing views of the pool and lake. The swimming pool area is stunning with lake views. Excellent breakfast with lots of options. Lunch also equally good, with large portions. My favourite hotel in Sirmione.
