Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe AC could have been stronger and there was a door between the hall and the bedroom that was in the way.
We loved the location and the staff were super friendly. They provided recommendations and volunteered to help with our luggage when we were going to do it ourselves. The rooftop breakfast and lobby bar was super nice too.

United StatesCould have had some snacks available in minibar or vending machine. Had some problems with shower, bathtub. Had to have staff show us how to work. Valve to switch from shower to tub hard to operate. Hard to avoid getting floor wet with only half wall in shower.
Room was great, very clean, nice size. Breakfast offered a good variety. Staff was very helpful. Loved the view from the rooftop. Nice place to relax in the evening.

United KingdomI'd have liked a walk-in shower, but the shower-over-bath was well-designed so with a bit of care I managed fine. The electronic room-lock never unlocked first time.
Location just on the edge of the old city (central for access to the rest of the city and peaceful for evening strolls), rooftop breakfast terrace with magnificent views to landmarks across the city and beyond, lovely friendly staff all seemed genuinely committed to looking after us, interesting view from my room, just the right size hotel for me, no big groups of guests.

HungaryThe breakfast was simple, without any vegetable. The room is a little bit oldschool, but is sufficient for the stay.
Real hotel feeling with large and well designed lobby. Exvellent location, in the middle of the downtown. Nice view to the Palazzo Montecitorio (government palace). Good breakfast coffee on request.

United StatesThe breakfast was okay at best, every day was the same, couple of cold cuts like ham, mortadella, prosciutto, pork neck etc.., scrambled eggs, yogurths, coffee machine, black coffee and juices.. It wasn't bad overall but maybe was expecting a bit more variety. The room was good size, clean, the cleaner would come to room every day to change sheets, re fill shampoos and provide new towels, and it was a good service. If I had to point at two things - the windows, altough close, are not very sound proof and you can hear morning deliveries, garbage trucks and people talking, laughing etc... Not unexpected considering the age of the hotel, windows and central location, so I am not trying to complain.. but just pointing it out! But the windows are great for blocking the light to come in if you are looking to sleep in, and it really helps with leaving the room as dark as you want, as long as you want..
The location was unbeatable, 150 meters approximately from Fontane Di Trevi & Pantheon, approximately 7 minutes walking distance from Vittorio Emannuel Monument and maybe 20 minutes from Collosseum walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful, for both breakfast and at the reception as well as the cleaners were always very pleasant. The room was a good size, if you like to sleep in, the windows are dark enough when closed to keep the room cozy and dark.

LuxembourgThe furniture of the rooms are getting worn. The fitted carpet in my room (255) must be changed. Ideally the hotel should have 3 glass windows. The locking function of the interior window shutters must be repaired.
The location is perfect. Terrace where now breakfast was served wonderful views. The room had high ceilings and a hallway. One could close the door between the hallway and the room. Good closets. Service level satisfying.

AustraliaDespite requesting my shower to be fixed, the shower head still fell over when turned on. The bar fridge didn't function either, which was annoying given I wanted to have cool drinks of an afternoon after escaping the summer heat. Reception were contacted about both issues. But this is Italy, and I would certainly recommend this hotel.
Great location, and great breakfast with a terrific view.

United StatesThe facilities were very old and definitely need some work. There was an elevator but then there were stairs to our room. The shower door was too short and it was dificult to shower without water getting on the ground. The staff was ok, they weren't rude but they weren't nice either. Overall it was ok but I find it too expensive for what we got. I don't know why is consider a 4 star hotel.
The hotel was in a good location. Close to things but not very noisy which is good. The room was very big
