The location of the Colonna Inn is perfect for escaping the crowds in Rome. Prato is a beautiful neighbourhood with lots of local bars and eateries. Our stay was extremely comfortable, we loved the variety of snacks in the kitchen, the filtered water, coffee and fridge facilities. The Colonna Inn has a lovely rooftop area, it was a lovely peaceful spot to have a morning coffee. The air conditioning was also amazing and required for July in Rome.

The hosts are super friendly and running an exeptional bussiness. Rooms are spacious and very clean, plus cleaning is provided every day. The floor has an attached kitchen where you can get coffee; tea or water and an amazing terrasse where you can unwind after a busy day. All major attractions are within walking distance, plus the bus stop is right infront of the building. It is also sorrounded by amazing restaurants and bakeries. You could not wish for more from an accomodation. Next time we are staying here again for sure.

Cons: -this is an old building so the elevator is a little scary and small lol but was glad they had it! -irons are shared between all guests so don’t expect to have it accessible all the time

The location is easy to find, but you need to drive 1-2 mins away to park a car. The property is near many great local restaurants. In fron of the hotel, you have the bus to The Roma Colosseum directly, very convenient and economic

I had an absolutely delightful experience during my recent stay at this apartment. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful—making the whole visit feel that much more special. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and the daily room service meant I returned each evening to a freshly made bed and tidy space. The location couldn’t have been more central, with everything I needed just a short walk away. Plus, the thoughtful extras like complimentary juice, coffee, and snacks were a lovely touch that made the stay even more comfortable. There is a lift if you require one to get up the stairs also. Overall, it was a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and kindness. Highly recommended—I’d stay again in heartbeat.

Generally a clean hotel within walking distance of all of the main attractions of the city. Comfortable bed and modern decor. Hosts were great. Very informative SMS before arriving and pleasant to speak with in person.

Loved this find, great location for Vatican city and so easy to walk into central Rome. Hosts were very helpful, the room was private, clean and perfect for a city break. Have recommended to others. Near the metro , easy to get train and metro from airport to this hotel, worked out to be cheaper for a couple

The hosts were amazing. They sent us all the relevant information in a timely manner. My flight arrived early and I got to the venue ahead of time. They prioritized getting my room ready. They cleaned my room everyday. The location was very good. Very close to pretty much everything. I walked everywhere and was able to explore Rome a lot.
