Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Beautiful location. Clean and modern rooms and facilities. Good breakfast - choice of eggs or pancakes and buffet with meats, cheeses, pastries. Dinners were very nice at the hotel with a set three course meal. Excellent wines for a good price. Staff were friendly. Good location - halfway between Florence and Pisa. We were able to do day trips to these locations. Still nestled away in Tuscan hills for quiet and peace. Things to be aware of - dirt road leading to the house. Would be difficult to access without a car. Some bugs and things in the room which would be expected for agrotourism. Overall not a major issue.

United KingdomNo such thing.
I booked this stay before the hotel was even open, luckily I found this place. In Tuscany, if you would like to stay in an agriturismo you can read so much not-so-good feedback. This place stands out. Not just because it's new, but the careful preparation of the opening, the quality of the building, and the stylish decoration everywhere. Yes, it's agriturismo on the top of a small hill about 700 meters from the main road. The road is gravelly but we haven't had any issues. The Team who is running the place is kind, attentive, and helpful. The breakfast is varied and delicious. You can enjoy sunrises and sunsets from the swimming pool. When we return for the next chapter of Tuscany we definitely will stay here.

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING ❤️ Words can’t explain what this place is about. An experience for life. During the four nights we stayed in this place, we were absolutely stunned about the details, the materials they used building the place, the beds (best night sleep ever), the breakfast with its local fresh products, the wine they produce, the pool and its structure, the views, the flowers in the garden. But above all; the smile stuff and the one and only Giovanni.

United KingdomCons: Breakfast Cleanliness: While the breakfast selection was impressive, there were some issues with cleanliness. A quicker turnover of fresh placemats and cutlery would improve the experience. Road Access: The road leading to the hotel is quite bumpy, which may pose a challenge for those with hire cars. Wi-Fi Connection: The Wi-Fi was somewhat inconsistent. It worked fine when the hotel was less occupied, but the bandwidth seemed stretched during busier times, making it difficult to connect devices like smart TVs. Noise Disturbances: The buzzing noise when doors unlock can be quite loud, and if other guests return late, this noise might wake you up. Pool Area: There are no toilets located near the pool area, which could be inconvenient. Colle Alberti is an excellent choice for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Its serene location amidst vineyards gives it a luxurious feel, making it better suited for an 'adults only' experience. It offers the perfect setting for adults seeking tranquility and relaxation. While there are a few areas that could use improvement, the overall experience was highly enjoyable, and we would recommend it to others looking for a peaceful retreat.
We recently spent a week at this beautiful hotel, and overall, it was a wonderfully peaceful experience. Pros: Location: The hotel is ideally situated, offering breathtaking views and a sense of tranquility that’s hard to find elsewhere. It’s perfectly positioned halfway between Pisa and Florence, with excellent public transport links via train from Empoli, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. Modern Amenities: The hotel has been recently refurbished, featuring modern yet minimalistic finishes. The rooms are equipped with super king-size beds that are exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast Selection: The breakfast buffet is wide-ranging, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. Local Produce: The hotel’s in-house wine and olive oil production adds a unique and authentic touch to the stay. Welcoming Staff: The staff were consistently friendly and eager to assist, adding to the overall positive experience.

SwedenReally bad that they don’t serve dinner. You expect that from this kind of hotel. Also, staff wasn’t always super friendly. Road to the hotel was really bad (risk of damaging your car). AC made strange sounds frequently during the night

Hong KongThe hotel charged us again on the full amount even we paid online before. This happened after we questioned them whether we paid online and the said no. We got told the refund may take weeks. We feel the follow up is not very active and requires us chasing for refund.
Good view, location, breakfast, facilities and service. I will come again next time.
