The property location was awesome for a 2nt stay in Florence to see the sights and be near to the main train station. The room was ground floor, clean and in great condition. Very comfy beds.

The communication was a bit lacking. I never got a reply to my request for confirmation that we had two single beds sent a few days before arrival. Upon arrival it took a while before someone let us in despite arriving slightly after 2 pm. The son who was cleaning spoke no English, Italian or anything except Albanian but he finally got someone on the phone that asked us if we could come back a bit later when the room was ready. We were able to leave our bags there and everything was smooth sailing after that!

Excellent location, walkable to all city center sites (10-15 minutes). as well as the Santa Maria Novella station. You may want to take a taxi though if you've got heavy bags and suffer the walk on cobblestones and uneven pavement. The room was very clean, not quite as big as I'd expected from the pictures, but the two single beds we had pushed together were still two beds, so all good! I think was lucky that we had the end room as we could hear a bit of bustling about from other rooms, but everyone was definitely courteous.

The property had everything going for it BUT we could not get in. Communication was VERY poor. No keys, no key box, no codes to get in, we stood outside at 11pm until 1am. Could not contact host. No responses to numerous emails in the week and days prior to arriving. Luckily another guest let us in and tried to help. 2 different groups of guests said they experienced same problem. I loved the place but would not book again unless the host improved communication and met us with keys.

The accommodation was lovely, very clean and in perfect location. We were happy with the apartment.

It would have been handy to have some kind of shelf in the shower. Make sure to close your bathroom door when you sleep so you don’t hear the loud neighbours through the vents. The key system to turn on the lights etc. meant you’re in the dark trying to lock the door at night which was fiddly. Overall good.

It was easy to enter with very clear instructions from the owner. The room was comfortable with a lovely bathroom. The recommendations booklet was a lovely touch.

Very hard to find the entrance!

We didn’t meet anybody! We communicated only by phone! The entrance has no sign, very difficult to find! The location was excellent! Walking distance to downtown and other places!

We loved it.

The place is very comfortable ,cosy and clean.We parked our motorcycle just outside the window as we stayed ground floor.Its central and we could go very easily everywhere.

At first it was a nightmare. The owners didn’t give me the instructions to access the building, so I was standing outside with any clue on how to enter. Later I found more reviews here reporting the exact same issue. I was with my 65 year old mother and we urged a place to stay the night (we did not receive any response from Clés de Florence until 11pm), so we had to book another place for that night. Fortunately, the owner responded and we were able to move to Cléa the next day and received a refund for the first night. However, the owner is rude and dealing with this accommodation was the worst part of our trip.

1. Small space, felt cramped even though I was a solo traveler. 2. Hotel Manager is unreliable: told me he would come see why the hot water isn’t working, but never came in the afternoon, had to take cold showers for the duration of my stay. 3. Not clean, bedsheets had multiple stains on them, there was a considerable amount of dust on the counters, the walls, and the appliances (coffee machine), the fridge wasn’t clean from the inside.

1. The bed is comfortable and spacious. 2. The A/C system is easy to use and does a good job.

The place was a great stay! It felt like we had our own little apartment for the night! We only stayed for a night, so the room was a little small but exactly the price and size needed for a quick stay!
