I found it quite disturbing that the hotel is choosing to use plastic glass for the breakfast juice, now as most of the world is really trying to use less plastic. Why not regular glasses? It also gives a sensation of "cheap", but most importantly, what a unnecessary waste for nature 😔. Otherwise everything was fine, small, but clean, a bit worn out wallpaper and shower that has seen better days

I had a terrace that turned to the back so rather quiet compared to being close to a rather busy road. Friendly and helpful staff.

Lot of ants in the room. We reported this to reception but continued to see lots of ants in the room. We moved two foldout couches and found remains of food (sweets and chocolate bar) covered in ants. We killed 80-100 ants over four days. No one checked with us after reporting the ants that issue was resolved. We also found clothes from previous guests under the sofa couch covered in dust so it was there for a period of time.

Very good proximity to all the places we were visiting. Good value for money. Pleasant staff.

The shower cabin was way too small - I can’t imagine how a large person could be able to use it, also it was a bit moldy inside the cabin.

Location bit too far from centre & above a large avenue so can get a bit noisy but that was fine. Bathroom was large but quite outdated (old fittings etc).

The family suite is very big. Huge bathroom & massive balcony. Comfy & clean. Not a touristy area so proper local cafes & restaurants around to enjoy.

The shower was very small and plugged at the beginning. But the problem was solved as we informed the staff about it. The shower curtain was improvised and it was difficult to shower without making the floor wet.

It's a very lovey hotel with a very nice staff. The breakfast is simple but enough. It's a nice area in general.

I am not a kind of person who expects a lot from the hotels. But still it could be a little cleaner. But it is not that bad. So if you are looking for the relatively affordable option, hotel Cilicia is the right choice.

Breakfast was fine. Room was a bit small but still OK if you just need to have a place for sleepover. Location was a bit far away from the city center. But it is still doable: it takes some 15 minutes walk to the San Giovanni metro station, for example. The hotel's yard is pretty nice: you can always have your cup of tee of coffee there listening to the nature's sounds. The stuff was quite friendly and supportive. The only thing is be prepared that not all of them are speaking English good enough. So if you know Italian you will have a huge bonus.
