The price was very high. Probably because of a large trade fair that was on that week, pushing up prices.

The shower in the room was broken and when I informed the reception they fixed it the same day. Although the room is basic, it was clean, the bed was good and my room at the back of the hotel was quiet.

Small issues in room eg toilet flush leaked slightly and tap needed to be closed, could be easily worked around.

No trash can in the room, just a small one in the bathroom. Everything is old, but it's ok because it was clean. No stairs, so for those who can't walk much could be inconvenient.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Location was also fine. Heating was on.

Around 23-00 PM there were people outside their rooms and there was noise and you can hear it from your room. The lady who was cleaning there was a very nice and helpful person.

The hotel is near a metro station, you have plenty markets in the area. The rooms are OK, equipped with the necessary facilities (one bed - confortable, one small TV, a bathroom and a balcony). The furniture was old, but these are not important details.

It’s very smelly room, and they were doing like a party at the reception at night which is very noisy.

Room size, over priced, no elevator, too much noise issue with neighbours.... Cannot watch movie on phone also or attend to office calls early morning. Insulation very weak. Air con was off and no fan was there in the room.

There was shampoo and soap but I would prefer to have to give a better option for shampoo for the price of the room.

Unfortunately it also smelled like my grandparents house musty and it must just be the sewer system in paris and Italy the bathrooms smelled. Cannot fault them for that:-) this is an old city! It did take awhile for someone to come meet us at the desk which would be understandable normally given how late it was however, they were expecting us late. The only thing we really did not like is there must have been a bachelor party or high-school football reunion or something, there was a group of men who showed up late they were so loud talking and laughing for over an hour in the hallway or downstairs but it carries through the whole place. (We didn't check in until after 22:30 Went to bed after showers so it was late) Then in the morning again, bright and early not only loud talking and laughing but stomping and singing at the top of their lungs! And because everything is tile, you could hear the cleaning and vacuuming just like a real home! It definetly felt like a house full of family which would have been perfect and made me smile (because it's what I imagine italy to be like in my mind ) had we not been sooo very exhausted and my daughter is very young and did not sleep because of it so made for a very long travel day.

If you're looking for a homey feel of Italian culture and family this is your place. I loved that they responded quickly, they were accommodating as we were having issues with train tickets and taxi cabs so go there later then expected. They helped us with luggage to our room and asked if we had eaten dinner and offered us a snack. It felt just like as if I was staying with my great grandparents. Felt more like a home then a hotel it was perfect if we were not so exhausted from all the setbacks I would have sat on the tiny balcony and relished the smell of the coming rain and sounds of the city. The bed was so cozy and perfect it felt like home. There was graffiti everywhere but never once did we feel unsafe. All in all I'd still stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

We did not have housecleaning of the room for any of the 3 days that we stayed. Also, none the towels were changed and we had to ask for toilet paper. lastly, the stairs to the second floor were dark all the 3 nights we stayed there. Very disappointed for all this.

Antonio the receptionist was so friendly, and helpful and very nice person.
