Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United KingdomThe road the hotel was on looked a bit ‘rough’, graffiti etc. but we realised a lot of Italy is like this. Don’t be put off by it.
The location was great less than 10 minutes walk from Milano Centrale. It was further to walk to the centre of the city but the walk wasn’t at all difficult passing through a park on the way. The metro and the tram both had stops very close to the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and could be eaten on the veranda or in the lovely garden. Our room was incredibly quiet with a little balcony overlooking the garden. The linen and towels were good quality.

AustraliaThere's no elevator so if you've got large suitcases be warned! There are rooms on the ground floor but there are steps leading into the lobby.
Good location about a 10 minute walk from the Central Train station, staff helpful with checking in. Having a garden to sit and read during the late afternoon was really lovely. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Would stay here again.

United KingdomWhat I didn’t like was the air conditioning—it wasn’t blowing cold air and the airflow was quite weak. It didn’t really cool the room, which was especially uncomfortable during the hot summer weather.
What I really liked about the property was how clean and well-maintained everything was—it felt very comfortable and welcoming. The location was also perfect, just a short walk from Milan Centrale, which made getting around the city incredibly convenient. Most of all, the staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their warm hospitality really made a difference in our stay.

This is a modest 3 star hotel with a pretty garden and friendly staff. Although the room was quite plain , the bathroom was impressively spacious and well equipped, with an excellent shower,and the air conditioning was a real bonus in a scorching week. The hotel is in a quiet street and has key pad entry. It is near the central station , and has a bakery and market very nearby. The restaurants recommended by the hotel were good , especially the Milan Kitchen. A good breakfast included English tea and excellent coffee made to order on the machine . Since April 2025 tourist tax now has to be paid in cash €6.30 per person per night at this hotel.The Duomo and museums are easily reached by metro. We Would be happy to stay there again

United StatesThe neighborhood looked kinda sketchy but I forgot that graffiti is art and not a representative that one is living in the “hood”. Hotel Charly is lovely.
It was conveniently located near Milan Centrale. After a disappointed stay in Lake Como it was refreshing to walk into a clean room with freshly made bed and clean towels. I love how the room was decorated. Fine textiles were used throughout. The Madam and her adorable dog were so friendly. I wish I had more time to stay to enjoy her garden and breakfast.
