How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The hotel staff were super friendly and attentive, the room was pretty modern and well equipped, there was a kettle and coffee machine station. Breakfast was on a nice terrace in the fresh air, it was a truly lovely stay!

Not the best price ever but still good, and the neighbourhood it's in isn't amazing and requires a little walk. Not 10/10 but as close as you could get without moving the hotel!
The room was lovely, comfortable, the AC was easy to use and worked well which was needed in the heat! The staff were really nice, breakfast was also great.

Awesome location with very good rooms and brilliant friendly staff. Totally loved the one week stay, made our life wonderful. Staff at reception was super helpful, provided us breakfast box as we were leaving early in the morning on a day trip to Amalfi. Totally recommend this place.

Nothing. It was perfect.
I am so happy we discovered this hotel in the heart of Rome. It was a great location - walkable to everything and in an excellent area. The breakfast was so good that my kids were asking when we could go back. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed here at the beginning and end of our two week Italy vacation and we were so happy to return. Perfect for families with large rooms and multiple beds!

It took awhile to figure out some of the controls, mainly the HVAC. The price was a little high but considering the time of year (June) and location it was acceptable. We will consider coming back in the off season for sure based on our experience.
The staff was very friendly and inviting. The room we got was excellent, a great suite for our family of five. Not to mention the breakfast was more than we were expecting.

Me and my partner wished we could have stayed longer, our one week vacation went by too fast.
We had an amazing one-week stay at this hotel in Rome. The location is perfect—centrally situated with easy walking access to major attractions like the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Piazza Navona. My partner and I were able to explore most of the city on foot, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless and pleasantly cool, which was a huge plus given the warm weather during our visit. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like the daily complimentary fruits and bottled water. Overall, a fantastic stay that really enhanced our Roman holiday.

We stayed at the hotel for a week, and everything exceeded our expectations. We chose a triple room, and it was spacious and airy. The hotel’s location was central, about a 15–20 minute walk to major attractions. Since we travel outside the city quite often, being just 10 minutes away from the main train station made things much easier for us. We were very pleased with the hotel staff as well. We would especially like to thank Joshua and Walter for taking great care of us during breakfast time.They were incredibly caring, respectful and friendly people. They both were very interested in our needs.
