Bed was a little hard but that's my personal preference. Air conditioning would be a bonus but the room was so big that we were able to keep it cool.

We had half board and the meals were by far the best of our holiday. On our first night we were given free wine tasting with local produce. Our room in the annexe was exceptionally large and clean with an amazing panoramic view from the balcony. Parking was free right outside the hotel with the option of garage parking. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially our waitress at breakfast and dinner.

Staff was a bit off and cold, both at the reception and in the restaurant during breakfast or dinner. Breakfast could also be improved - everything seems chaotic, there were no fresh veggies available, eggs needed individual cooking or you could ask to have an omelette/fried eggs prepared. We also had dinner at the restaurant on one occasion, but the food wasn't amazing.

The location of this hotel is really good and the room actually exceeded my expectations. We had a large room in a separate building across the main hotel, with a balcony, offering a stunning view towards the Dolomites. No objections regarding cleanliness. Parking is available, at no extra charge, in front of the hotel or in the hotel's garage.

Fabulous. Wonderful hotel in a beautiful village. Great experience in the Dolomites. We had a fabulous room. The owners and staff were exceptional, so welcoming. The food was unbelievable (and I do recommend that you eat here). Loved everything. I wished we stayed longer. Simply wonderful!

Nothing! If I had to make one comment, it would be nice to have a small refrigerator in the room but not a big deal.

Having visited over 30 countries in Europe, the Cavallino is our favorite hotel! The staff at this beautiful family run hotel are all wonderful. The property has been in the family since the mid-1800's. The new hotel was built in 2010 and was built to very high standards. The food (both breakfast and dinner) are delicious. Definitely purchase the pre-paid dinner: a delicious 5-course meal and, If the pre-set menu doesn't suit you, you can order off of their dinner menu. They offer several vegetarian entrees. The views from the rooms are amazing! We stayed three nights. On the first night of our stay, the hotel provided complimentary drinks and appetizers before dinner on the back patio. This was our third stay at the Cavallino in ten years and we are never disappointed. At 5 or 6 pm, the local cows are paraded up the street wearing their bells. Fun to watch! Even some of the lovely art work was created by mother and daughter of the large hotel family.

Spa hours are relatively limited, I imagine it could get crowded during busy seasons. Firm beds and small shower, this seems to be just about everywhere in Italy we've stayed though.

We loved Hotel Cavallino - spacious rooms, kind staff, we had an excellent view with a small patio, a kitchenette you could easily prepare meals in, lovely dinner, easy parking, quiet, and the spa was a bonus. We can't wait to return!

Everything in this family-owned hotel is just adorable to make you feel like at home. Stunning views, impeccable customer service by the owner and all the staff always with a smile, very clean and well-maintained facilities, spacious room, attention to details, top quality restaurant and free wine tasting, secure garage, nice spa area. We liked pretty much everything. Although there was all the coffee I wanted at breakfast, I am usually dependent upon a cup once I get out of bed, so not having a coffee maker in the room was not an essential miss, but I did move a little slower until breakfast was ready.

The hotel was in a beautiful tranquil location central to our main points of interest for our time in the Dolomites (1.25hr from Tre Cime di Lavaredo, 1hr from Seceda/Col Raiser, 1 hr from Lago di Braises/Prager Wildsee). The rooms were large with comfortable bedding. The entire property was spotless. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our stay included breakfast and dinner at an extremely affordable price. The meals were very good with fixed menus thay could be altered upon request. The spa was simple but had everything we needed including modern infrared saunas, steam rooms, traditional saunas, whirlpool, and a relaxation room. Overall, the stay was very enjoyable and affordable.

We loved everything about the property. It is a family run hotel, and they all go out of their way to make sure that your stay is fantastic. The food at the restaurant is amazing. The room was absolutely incredible. It was one of the most gorgeous views. We only stayed two nights, but could have stayed a lot longer. We cannot recommend this place enough.
