How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I had room nearby reception and heard people checked out and opening their rooms.
Nice clean room, nice stuff. Also 2 bottles of water and tea. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Didn’t realize the airport shuttle wasn’t included. It was 25 Euros each way.
Nicely decorated and walking distance to good restaurants and cafes.

Eggs and bacon are not warm Nothing for breakfast was that great, hoping for fresh authentic Italian food but all packaged not good.7

Chic hotel, close to the beach and city center with many food options. Very kind and helpful staff (they were able to convert a queen bed to 2 twin beds for us, had breakfast out at 5,45 am before our departure).

The location was perfect. Very close to restaurants and the beach. Wifi was super fast. The room was so clean. I was able to get an early check-in. All the receptionist from check-in to check-out were outstanding. I did not have breakfast because I had to check-out early. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Great location near the airport to catch an early morning flight but very close to the sea. Great restaurants nearby and the feel of a small seaside community.

The driveway entrance was covered in rubbish which was obviously from a bin which was noticed by us and the bank workers next door. But one employee walked completely over it when leaving and the other would have seen it from The balcony when she was looking over but made no attempt to come and clean up.

Location is quite hidden, it’s not easy to find. Parking in front to drop off luggage was a little stressful as it’s on a busy street. No elevator, no carrying heavy luggage was not easy.
Decently close to the airport without being a the “airport area”. Nice vibe and restaurants not too far, along with the marina. The rooms are clean and recently renovated, it’s a small hotel with only a few rooms. Breakfast included and the friendly, helpful staff were very appreciated.

Staff were fabulous - so helpful and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. A lovely location so close to the sea and so many great dinner options. The room was large, clean and had great air conditioning.

The staff were so lovely and helpful. We had everything we needed for one night before our flight. There was a great pizzeria up the road and we enjoyed walking to the marina to watch the sun set.

Bread at the breakfast could be a little bit more fresh and crispier. We were missing as well a little bit of ham.
We've received excellent support from the reception desk. The room was very clean and it had everything we needed. The location was as well very close to the beach and airport.

Thankfully the taxi driver knew where the hotel was because the sign was not obvious from the road. It would have been nice to have extra toilet paper in the bathroom, but it was provided when asked for.
The breakfast selection was very good for being a small hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I encountered on my 3 week visit to Italy.
