How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

🌟 Enchanting Stay at Castello San Felice Our experience at Castello San Felice was absolutely fantastic. Nestled in a peaceful part of Verona, this charming property felt like a hidden gem—beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and full of character. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the warm welcome from the lovely lady who greeted us. She was the kindest person we’ve ever met—gracious, attentive, and genuinely caring. Her hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel completely at home. The location was perfect for exploring Verona, with easy access to the historic center and nearby attractions. We also appreciated the convenient parking and thoughtful amenities provided.

You go from the street directly to the room and there are no windows
10-15 minutes walk to the center. Very clean, host very friendly. Parking available in an area where normally it's difficult to park.

The apartment is cute, very clean and lots of space. Easy parking. The friendly welcome and location. Also nice choice of food and drink for breakfast.

Breakfast was nice however we would like to have some savoury option too.
We loved it , couldn’t fault anything regarding the accommodation. Spotlessly clean , host was lovely and welcoming. Maps and brochures in the room which was very helpful too.

Accommodation was spotless and so well equipped. Breakfast left was plentiful and fridge well stocked. Location was fantastic - could walk straight into Verona on Ponte Pietra bridge. Owners were so helpful and arranged to meet us on arrival, couldn’t have made the process easier.

Strange noises in the fridge during the night. Probably in the coolers cooling system. It is in the sleeping room so without possibility to move out for sleeping. But if this is fixed, all is perfect.
Comfortable and nice apartment. Really clean and tidy. Parking possible at the door.. Very good location for downtown walking. Recommended.

Only one criticism, and it is very minor and probably not important to 99% of the population. Would have loved some black tea :)
The location was great but for someone with mobility issues a little difficult. Not a criticism, just an observation. Marisa's welcome and kindness was second to none. The breakfast provided was ample and very Italian. We loved the layout, cleanliness, onsite parking and access to cooking facilities, even though we didn't actually use them due to our short term stay. Will highly recommend to family and friends, and hopefully be back again one day.

It was farther from the town centre than I thought - about a 20-30 minute walk to the main attractions
The host was very responsive and friendly, the apartment was beautiful and quite spacious. There was an iron and ironing board which were useful.

Breakfast was your typical Continental style with self-serve items due to Veneto regulations, therefore no cold cuts, cheeses or anything that could be touched directly by human hands (other than ours). Surprised that we couldn't find a bread or cheese knife in order to cut what had been bought at a nearby Salumie/Formaggi store. (Used my swiss knife instead). Little things like face cloth to wash with, Kleenex tissues, and maybe a small rack/shelf in the shower to put personal products. These are negligible but worth considering nonetheless.
The place was impeccable and well appointed. The proprietor (Marissa) was amazing and accommodating, and explained what we needed to know about the apartment, along with a place to park and nearby essentials amenities. Small Nespresso-style coffee was available with one selection. A short and scenic walk to the Ponte Pietra bridge made this stay worthwhile. Lots to see nearby in the old part off Verona. Would visit again.

A good location for visiting Verona, with free parking. Met by Sara who explained what we needed to know. Good bathroom and kitchen, with the supplied breakfast adequate for our requirements. An enjoyable stay.

You are on the ground floor in a former garage that was converted into an apartment. You cant fully open the one window and dont have any other source of air other than the AC. No mosquito nets, little air in the bedroom/kitchen, during the summer. We went there in july, i presume its ok during spring or autumn. That is not a breakfast its just stuff wits lots of sugar.
Its clean and the host is pleasant.
