Castello di Casole is a destination hotel - car, taxi or helicopter are the only ways to it. This is part of what makes it great, set in the Tuscan hillside with beautiful landscapes all sides the hotel affords the just under 40 rooms guest a tranquil relaxing place to stay. Service is exceptional, the food is even better. Castello di Casole is not the cheapest hotel by any means but you get what you pay for.

Fantastic location and beautiful Castello. Allegra and Andrea and teM were great and most welcoming. Chef is fabulous,dining experience really wonderful. Entertainment music lovely.a fantastic experience!

- pool water might be a bit cold - very short spa schedule (11:00-18:00), if you're somehow staying only 1 day then all you get is 2 hours probably

- overstaffed, but in a good way, there's always someone everywhere to assist you in need, very professional all of them - great spa area for relaxing - big infinity pool with a nice view over the valley - nice view from the rooms - comprehensive breakfast, a lot of fruits, juices, cheese selection - a lot of free activities included (bike rides, focaccia / cocktail lessons, wine tasting) and various small complimentary gifts

What's not to like? Beautiful hotel, fabulous facilities, friendly staff, great food.... one of the loveliest hotels in the world. I particularly loved the beautiful infinity pool. Great spa and gym too. Just go!

We like everything in the hotel. The view and environment were breathtaking and unforgettable. It was definitely one of the best hotel we have ever been to. The spa was beautiful and relaxing. We also enjoyed so much for the hospitality of the staff, they were so helpful and took very good care of us. We even received a bottle of wine and free upgrade from them to celebrate our honeymoon. Though it was a bit expensive but we think that it was totally worth it.

All prices in restaurants/bars are unbelievable high as well as the price per night.

Everything was perfect except the prices. Great views, very kind people and cozy/ancient atmosphere. All services were on exceptional level. Food was very delicious.

Service is too slow and a lot of requests were missed. Examples are: 1- we arrived and asked for a third bench for the outdoor terrace as we were a family of three. none arrived. 2- at the breakfast , you have to repeat the order and follow up on your orders many many times to get them right then to your table. 3- While water bottles are available everywhere at the property, in the room, at the parking, in the lobby etc... , at the pool if you ask for a bottle of water they charge you 5 euro... not sure why ? you could get the bottle from your room or from the concierge. 4- Spa booking: pls understand the rule of booking as when we checked in we were asked if we like to book and we said in principle a certain time and date to be confirmed, to find out later on that if we miss our time we are in the cancellation policy and we will be charged. We had to explain to all staff and manager that one we did not confirm, two we were not informed and three this is not the right way to welcome a guest at the hotel.

Location is excellent, the property is magnificent, the breakfast is great. Rooms are spacious and the private terrace is a great value to privacy while being outdoor. the Manager was responsive to the issues we faced so well done to the customer service.
