The limited view from the terraces

Perfect location. Very nice old building. The one thing that could be better is the view from the terraces. For instance the breakfast area has a terrace with a 100 cm high wall around it. Tis blocks the view which is really a shame because the view is very nice. Also there are not a lot of common areas to sit. The lounge of the hotel is only 4 by 6 meter and has new windows with a view

We liked everything really.

Everything! The rooms were pretty, comfortable and very spacious. The service is very remarkable. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. The hilltop location offers a memorable view. Had a superb stay!

The room was fantastic. Lots of space and a small bottle of wine and bag of biscotti upon arrival. The restaurants were both wonderful. The tour of the winery and wine tasting was fun and informative.

not really related to the actual hotel, but the mobile signal is pretty weak to inexistent. This also causes their own Wi-Fi to be very weak

- very professional and welcoming staff - wonderful view, especially from the pool - complimentary drinks and snacks at the pool - superb, big rooms - great museum inside the castle - offers a great reading room with books and board games and complimentary drinks

Incredible food at both restaurants, very helpful staff, beautiful room overlooking rose garden. Superb views. Very special place indeed. Would definitely recommend it and would stay again tomorrow! La sala do Grappoli was outstanding. Couldn’t ask for better setting or food!

Having a more efficient way to get service (drinks and food) at the pool. Perhaps having a buzzer or phone at the pool so you can ring room service or having someone waiting on the pool throughout the day. We were able to order food and drink through reception, but there's likely an easier way to do this.

My wife and I are avid world travellers having stayed at some of the best hotels in the world. There really are no words to describe how peaceful, quiet, and perfect this hotel is. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are extensive, the pool has an incredible view, the staff are excellent and the list goes on. It's a very quiet retreat if you're looking to relax and unwind. Absolutely loved it.

Perfect location, amazing staff—literally nothing to improve! I personally think it is not ideal for a stay with kids (unless your kids enjoy beautiful views, wine, food, and a quiet location). However, for a couple looking to escape the noisy world, nothing can be better than Banfi!

From the room to the grounds to the service to the attention to detail, it was truly beyond expectations. The room size for a family of 4 was just perfect. There was an abundance of things to do on grounds and a couple of great restaurants in nearby towns.

The only thing that I didn't like was the behaviour of Marco in the brekfast area. He as not smiley and helpful. If you will order more than one thing, I think he is getting angry. It wad rainy and I asked just for taking umbrella thr answer should be yes or no he said wait please btw umbrellas were in front of me. Then I asked what should I wait for. He spoke on his own; then I took two umbrellas on my own. He was totally not polite. If you dont have patience against these kind of behaves; try Borgo Santo or so in this area.

Location and the ambiance of the hotel was perfect. we stayed in the suit and the view of the window was like the photo of tuscany. If you are one of Brunello fan like me Wine Shop is alsa amazing. Bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was ok. You could also choose anything like omlette from buffer breakfast selection.
