Peppe was a wonderful host, and took the time to check us in and provide local recommendations throughout our stay. The room was really spacious for three, with a separate living area and bathroom. Fantastic location with parking nearby. Such a positive stay!!

Nothing everything was good

The apartment was right at the heart of Castellamare del Golfo and was just like pictured! Piero and Peppe were very kind and helped us with everything we needed.They cooperate with a little cafe 1 minute from the apartment where they serve nice coffee and paninis for breakfast.

Incredible location and Pietro was such a kind, helpful and responsive host. Amazing location close to the centre with nearby parking. The room was very big and spacious and cleaned every day. The bathroom had a bit of a smell to it but would still recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

The doorways were a bit awkward for big folks like us, but it's a very old building. We still managed well despite this issue. The internet cut out the first night we were there, but the host told us it was an area-wide problem, not just there. It was resolved a while later.

Our room was on the second floor. They have a tiny elevator, only one person at a time in (we are large folks and we were just barely over the weight limit of 250kg). The elevator was good and did its job. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. We had an entry, a sitting room, a bathroom, and the bedroom. The mattresses were firm but not hard. The ceilings were vaulted and room decorated nicely with some classic furniture and a few pieces of art. The internet was pretty solid if a little slow, but the signal was weak in the bedroom and would cut out sometimes. It was fine in the sitting room. There was a fridge in the sitting room with a few "mini fridge" types of items you can purchase for extra that we didn't buy. We did use it to keep the water and soda we bought cold, and keep some leftovers. The bathroom was a little small for our large bodies, and the shower difficult to get into because of how the door was in the corner of the staff, but once we got in, it was OK and the water pressure was fine. The hand-held sprayer helped. There were some small shampoos and little soaps available as well as body wash. The location for this hotel was perfect. They offered breakfast at a local cafe only a few minutes walk down Garibaldi. Breakfast included a beverage and a choice of a "salty" or "sweet" item. We usually had a sweet thing and a little sandwich that we shared between us and some juice or lemon soda (we don't drink coffee or espresso). There was a nice halal pizza and kebab restaurant right across the street. The both the pizza and the kebabs were lovely, substantial, and reasonably priced. Further down Garibaldi, the street becomes a pedestrian zone. The entire tourist area and the marina are within a fairly short walk, though be warned, this entire town sits on a hill and everything is up or downhill from everything else. Because of our mobility issues, we needed to allow for more time and take many rests.

Old family house with several apartments in the middle of the city centre. Very spacious rooms with good A/C. Friendly host with lots of good advised where to go! Grazi! Few blocks away free parking easy to find

Minor complaint, elevator moved maybe a foot per second… very slow and although description said ‘breakfast’. Breakfast was not there, was 200-300 feet down the street, which is not really issue and u received coffee and sweet roll or small sandwich… those details should be listed in description, could impact one’s decision
