Not really negative but I'm always hoping for some vegetables for breakfast but I think it's just the Italian breakfast tradition that lacks vegetables other than tomatoes. Otherwise wish they could offer warm lunch in the house, then I would just stay there the whole day.

What a beautiful and calm stay - loved everything about the place. People were kind, the rooms were well equipped and regularly cleaned. The pool was a must with warm weather. Perfect place for relaxing and visiting small villages nearby. Bonus points for delicious breakfast including eggs from their own chickens and everything possible made out of hazelnuts from their own plantation.

10/10 experience. Beautiful location and views, the owners were so kind and helpful. Room was huge, clean and comfortable bed and great breakfast. Our favourite thing about the property were the 4-legged resident pets, they were so friendly and sweet ❤️

What a gem! A beautiful place with a wonderful family running it, they made us feel so welcome. and their attention and care shows in the details. Do not miss an opportunity to stay here. The fabulous breakfast will make you feel like royalty. And the pool is incredible, exactly what you need on hot days.

Cascina Baronina is a wonderful experience! Its setting within the 10'000 hazelnut trees and the perfect restoration of the old farm estate, while still retaining its historical charm, is just perfect. Together with the surrounding, picturesque, little villages this place and area are a wonderful exposure to Bella Italia way off the beaten tourist path!

We loved the room and the property overall. The two hosts Pier Ferdinand and Gian Marco was very accommodating and wonderful hosts. The property is very beautiful, comfortable and clean. The is well located and easy to access beautiful villages nearby.

The room was very clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The view outside the room is very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We asked for eggs for breakfast and they provided us with eggs from their own chickens. Fantastic experience!

We liked everything.

Everything. Spacious and nicely decorated room, comfortable beds, air conditioning, breakfast. Property is surrounded by hazelnut orchards. Friendly and very helpful staff. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come again.

Drove to the property. I could not find anyone to help me check in. I saw a woman and said 'hello' and she said 'hello' back, and then ran into the building. I spent 20 minutes walking around. I finally found someone in an office. He showed me my room - the worst in the building, right beside the office. No view. This is typical for solo travellers - they are often given the worst rooms. The bathroom was a nightmare as it was too short for anyone above 180 cms. I had to go on my knees to use the mirror to shave. The shower head reached my neck and could not go higher. I hit my head on the ceiling several times. After I was given the key to my room, I told the hotel employee that I would get my baggage and come back, and then he could tell me about possible restaurants nearby (which he said are typically full on a Saturday such that a reservation was definitely needed) and the Wifi access details. When I came back, he was gone, never to be seen again (I telephoned the hotel number and as no one answered, I left a message - no one ever called me back). I figured out the Wifi myself and made my own restaurant reservation. I did not see anyone again until breakfast the next morning, which was fine. This place is large, and could be nice, but there are insufficient professional trained staff to meet the guests needs. It is antiseptically clean of any character or sense of welcome. Rooms are not fit for anyone taller than 180 cms. Avoid at all costs.
