The view was fantastic! It was also very peaceful and quiet - a lovely retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. The owners were also exceptionally helpful and welcoming. From the minute we arrived, they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Great fun with the lifts to and from the property too.

Extremely friendly and helpful host! We had an issue with our car reaching the hotel, but the host arrived promptly and assisted us right away. Our advice to anyone traveling here is to rent a small, powerful car, as the ride up is quite challenging. The rooms are clean and cozy, with magnificent views. Breakfast is authentically Italian, and when we asked, we were even provided with freshly made scrambled eggs. Since the hotel is located high up, the owner kindly offers free rides from an agreed spot every evening at 9 PM and 10 PM, which is a huge convenience. Overall, a brilliant experience – highly recommended!

Loved it all! Some reviews say WiFi wasn’t great - but we had no problems at all!

Stunning views, great rooms & spotlessly clean. The rides up to the property were part of the fun! Gianluigi looked after us very well & was happy to pick up & give lifts down also. It was a beautiful spot & much needed calm in mid August, when everywhere else was so busy. Would really recommend staying here - true Italian hospitality! Thank you Gianluigi 👏🏼👏🏼

WiFi was spotty but apart from that it was amazing!

The host Gianluigi was incredible! He ran a shuttle for pick ups every night as the hotel is up a very steep hill. He organised a boat trip for us and took us down to the marina and picked us up again. Breakfast every morning was delicious.

The “Paradise” of Gianluigi is a place where you hear the birds singing when you wake up and open the window; Casarufolo offers a magnificent view of the sea, Mont Vesuviu and the town, from up! Sorrento and the other places from the region are very busy and noisy with a lot of tourists, that’s why, Casarufolo was the best place for us to stay, quite and we felt at home! Gianluigi is a very friendly person, who made everything to be perfect for us! He helped us with everything we needed! We felt like Gianluigi is a very good friend of us! I want to thank Gianluigi for an outstanding stay. We were skeptical about access to the city center, but Gian was great about getting us to and from the city when we needed, and even gave us a moped ride! The views were outstanding from the hotel, the breakfast was good, and the room was very comfortable and clean. Gianluigi also gave us several recommendations for the area, and it is clear he is a true local. Would stay again if I am in the area.

Due to its splendid location, it is necessary to coordinate transportation up and down the hill to Sorrento. This was never an issue for us. Gianluigi was never far away to make transportation easy.

Everything! Casarufolo Paradise is a beautiful, quiet location overlooking Sorrento with Napoli in the background along with Mt. Vesuvius. What's not to like? The property is beautifully maintained with a veranda and a vine covered patio. Breakfast was much more than a box of juice and a biscuit. Then there's the staff, everyone was very pleasant and efficient. It's better than home away from home.

Luigi was a great host! He made our stay extremely memorable, from providing complimentary shuttle service to the place to amazing breakfast everyday, this trip was memorable because of him. It’s far from town. But he was available for driving us back and forth all the time.

Luigi the host/ owner is the most pleasant human I’ve ever met. He made our experience better. Even since before our arrival he was great communicating and offering pick up and drop off to the station. His hospitality is outstanding. Of course the view from the property is breathtaking

Coming from USA, beds were firm but this is standard for Europe.

Loved the secluded location on the side of the mountain overlooking Sorrento. Views during day and night were absolutely incredible. Our host, Gianluigi, was always available to shuttle us up and down the mountain into town and helped us secure reservations for a day trip to Capri and dinner reservations. Family enjoyed breakfast every morning overlooking the town. Kids loved staying there. Room was great and A/C worked perfectly. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Didn’t dislike but you have to bear in mind that this property is high up on the hill/mountain, so if driving - have to be mindful how difficult road is but Gianluigi who runs the place will come and get you when needed, but if you are out in the evening- you would have to be at meeting point at 9 pm or 10 pm to be collected so was limited how long you are out for to enjoy the night

Breakfast was served on the terrace which was lovely but we would have liked a little more variation with the food for the 5 days we were there.

Wonderful location with stunning views of the bay. Gianluigi was a joy and always available to transport us between the town and the accommodation (an experience not to be missed!). Clean spacious room with a great view.

The bed was quite hard, although this can be personal taste. Breakfast could have been improved by some fruit, and fresh juice. There were no glasses, corkscrews, etc. at all in the room.

Property has a stunning view. We loved it at night too, and the fireflies which flitted around. Lovely location for breakfast. We really appreciated our host, Gianluigi's energy, engagement, friendliness and willingness to provide transport to and from the town. Walking down the hill into town was pleasant but without the transport up the hill this place would not be viable.

The location is fantastic . You are up in the hills with a fantastic view of sorrento and across the bay to Naples. It has a lovely rustic feel and is so peaceful whilst being close enough to easily get into the hussle and bustle of Sorrento. Gianluigi is friendly and super accommodating, he offers a free shuttle service up and down the hill though the walk down is easily do-able. He is also very insightful on key things to do and see during you're visit

There was nothing to dislike.

This really was paradise. Beautiful peaceful location with the most amazing views of Sorrento and Vesuvius. Breakfast was served on the terrace overlooking the gardens and the view. Lovely to sit in the garden in the evening with a glass of wine watching the fire flies. Gianluigi was a fantastic host, nothing was too much trouble and he was happy to drive us down into Sorrento if we didn't fancy walking and was always available to pick us up in the evening. We would definitely recommend this property.

Very steep hill down to Sorrento centre - ok walking down. But too much for walk back. Thankfully Gianluigi was able to pick us up and take us back to the B&B

Cleanliness. Attentive, friendly staff. Breakfast very tasty and fresh. Location view was stunning. Courtesy car available as and when required, nothing was too much trouble, regardless of the time of day or night. Would highly recommend accommodation to experience Italy away from the busy tourist areas.
