The location is very rural, yet you have a frequently used countryside street in front of the house. Please don't expect complete calm.

The kindness and warmth of the hosts, the charming room, for me it was a perfect place to visit Florence but not stay in the city center.

Casanova's location, ~20 min outside of Florence was absolutely perfect for all of our Day-Trips to the local areas (San Gimignano, Lucca, Florence, & Orvieto....all 2 hr or less drives). The Farm stay completely exceeded our expectations for beauty, convenience, room quality and size, daily breakfast (AMAZING...we miss it badly), and then Sara the inkeepers sweet disposition and helpfullness! We couldn't wait to come to breakfast each day to experince typical Italian foods and wonderful morning cappucinos!! Sara has a full supply of products that can also be bought on side for either gifts or consumption (wines, pastas, kitchen products, etc.). So fun getting to talk with others staying at the inn and hearing about others experiences. Sara also had the most chill cat on-site, which helped satisfy my need to pet a fuzzy animal, as I missed my cat back home! A beautiful property that would be fun to try again in the summer when the pool could be used. It was a bit early when we were there. Definitely beneficial to stay here if you are driving Italy!

It was a bit cold and rainy so we couldn’t use the swimming pool or go on walks. But it is something which the host couldn’t influence🤭

The breakfast was delicious! There were 4 different cakes/pies and they were all excellent, especially lemon pie. The juices, yogurt, marmalades are all locally produced and delicious. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, bathroom great. Soap, balsam, shower gel and shampoo are all from well known quality brand from Tuscany. There are also mosquito nets on the windows, which is definitely a big plus, in case we come back during the summer.

No eggs on the breakfast menu, but that's my personal preference. We were not allowed to use the cooker. More eating out for us YAY

We are a family of 5. it's always difficult to get decent accommodation as 5 is an odd number. We were given a suite with 2 rooms, 1 room had 1 large queen bed and 2 single beds, and the other room had a single bed. It would have been nice for me and my husband to have a private room, however, this set-up was very acceptable. It's just our personal preference. The bathroom was nice and spacious, with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and shower cap provided. The room was bright and comfortable, clean and screens on the windows allowed fresh air, bug-free. The pool was nice and cool and my kids loved it. You can't dive due to the shape, however, it was fun to be in or simply sunbathe around. Breakfast was great, with lots of variety, my only complaint would be eggs, I was craving eggs, but they do not serve eggs. Again, my personal preference. Alex is a wonderful baker and her cakes are to die for. The whole team is brilliant. You are given allocated space in a shared fridge to store your cool things. You are not allowed to use the cooker, however. Tea and Coffee is available throughout the day. And they also offer filtered water, with washable bottles for you to borrow throughout your stay. The local area is nice and peaceful. We hired a car, as the place is a little remote but accessible to local shops and restaurants. In your room, you'll have a list of recommendations which all worked out amazing for us.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful Tuscan villa! The location is perfect for exploring the stunning countryside and charming towns nearby. Very nice property, close to the Antinori winery. The lady in charge of the rooms waited for us and in the middle of the nigh when we locked up outside the rooms woke up and helped us, we were able to use the dinning room in the evening for drinking wine. They were having a few types if wine in their restaurant, very affordable that you could buy. The still and sparkling water, coffee and tee were at your disposal for free. The rooms are very big, clean, good mattress, local produced toiletries.

The hotel was amongst wineyards and in the Tuscan countryside. Florenz was easily accessible if one has a car and can drive to Scandicci, from there take a tram to Florenz. Breakfast was simple but very nice and the filling. We had a lovely stay and if we are ever.in the region again we would go back.
