the bathroom is too small and outdated. They could at least invest in renovating it so everything is perfect.

Door handles were broken which it’s not nice and comfy at all (especially in the WC). There were also some garbage on the floor when we arrived. The apartment is old, but could be much better if mentioned above is fixed.

There are plenty of small broken things like missing door handles in toilet, broken couch leg, wobbly radiators box under windows. Also very small shower and no tray for shampoo. The feeling is low quality. Also, check in online and paying city tax via their website seems shady.

The personal is helpfull, we accidentally left keys inside appartment and staff in minutes same and rescued as. The price and location is great. Shop just around the corner but not to noisy street.

Apartmen has “hostel“ or “hippie“ or "communa" vibe, style and smell. Obligatory online check in which is needed for entry instructions. Narrow stairs and building court noise but those cant be held against owners considering it is old town building. Strange smell in all rooms especially in livingroom which cant be determined whether is "sweat or exotic spice" and couldnt get rid of entire 3 days stay. Double bed in bedroom is very noisy and the metal frame is causing noise with every single move of a limb. Shower cabin is very very narrow and there is no shampoo tray or holder, shower cabin floor is inappropriate, shower pillar is loose, bathroom door handle is off. One of the sofas in living room is broken (leg is detached) which is obvious when you sit on it but the owners kept it dispite. Apartment door inner lock handle is falling off. There are only two reviews for apartment but it looks like it passed through an army of tourists. Less than expected. It is objectively clean but all the accomodation feels and vibes like "hippie or hostel" and there are two bunk beds in one room in additon to that thouths and it acceptable for someone but not for us and it isnt "style" matter only. Everything looks shabby. This isnt our first time in Como but it is last in this accommodation.

In our three weeks travelling around Italy I am afraid this property was by far the worst. I am not sure why the owners have not acted on the reviews (which I wish I had paid more attention to) but our experience over three days was one of discomfort. The single air conditioning unit in the main bedroom was not only useless, it actually pumped out more hot air from the broken extractor than cold air from the front! That resulted in three very bad nights' sleep. Almost every door handle was also broken, including both sides of the bathroom door which meant it could not be closed. The legs of both sofas have also broken and one collapsed onto the floor while my teenage son was lying on it. Finally, while I understand that it is an old building and renovations will be difficult, the shower cubicle is so small that you can barely move once in it. Overall, we were left with the impression that the owners had no interest in investing in the property, where just a few hundred euros could make a big difference.

The location is perfect.

I have gone back and looked at reviews listed since we booked and it appears that these issues have been ongoing for months and have not been addressed. Check-In Experience Despite arriving past the designated check-in time and providing our expected arrival details online, the apartment was not ready when we arrived. Bathroom Door The door handles were missing, and instead, they were left loose inside the bathroom. Unfortunately, one member of our group sustained a cut on their hand while trying to open the bathroom door. Air Conditioning Issues A mobile air conditioning unit in one room which but it proved useless in cooling the single room, never mind the apartment. Wi-Fi The listing claims to offer Wi-Fi, but we were unable to locate any network during our stay. There was no visible Wi-Fi router, nor were there any instructions provided in the apartment for connecting to a network. Information There was no stay Information in the appartment. Shower Size The shower was another issue, with a very compact size of approximately 0.6m by 0.6m. This is impractical for an adult. It is also in need of maintenance, it appears to have been painted and the paint is all flaking away. Couch Condition The couch in the living area was unstable and wobbly. This was yet another example of poor maintenance within the apartment. Main Entrance The lock to the front door to the block gets stuck, and can be very difficult to unlock Appartment Door The turn key knob on the back of the door will fall off in your hand.

Horrible state of the apartment. AC was working but too small with a bad installation. We had 28 degrees Celsius the whole night with the AC on max. Three door handles fell off (including the front door), we had to barricade the front door during night because we couldn’t lock it. The apartment is two floors up following a narrow, steep and dark staircase. The sofa fell apart. The list goes on.

All the furniture seemed to be at their end. Couches fall apart when you sit on them. Door knobs come off all the time. The bed in the main bedroom was not comfortable at all. Only an ac in the main bedroom.

The most disturbing aspect is that the air conditioning doesn't work in tropical temperatures, significantly disrupting sleep at night. The air conditioning is only in one room, but it is very amateurishly installed and doesn't cool very well. Secondly, the shower resembles an MRI tube, making it impossible to bend down after using shampoo. The fact that door handles are falling off everywhere is almost comical and not a big deal overall. All in all, the apartment is overpriced.

The apartment has a wonderful location directly in the middle of the Como old city center. Everything can be reached by walking. The staff was very friendly in contacting and was also very flexible.
