We had an excellent stay at this property in Matera. The views were absolutely breathtaking – a true highlight of our visit. The hosts thoughtfully provided breakfast supplies which made for a relaxing start to each day. One of the best features was the hassle-free pickup and drop-off service to secure parking – it made arriving and leaving completely stress-free. A beautifully managed property in a stunning location. Highly recommended!

Amazing view right on the doorstep, spacious, beautiful home, nicer than in the pictures, extremely kind hosts who met and dropped us off from the bus station. It had everything we needed and so many nice little touches like being left stools to sit on the doorstep and a free bottle of wine. Comfortable bed, small but good shower, lots of storage space.

Fantastic communication and support from the owners - from tips in advance before I arrived, to meeting/escorting me to the parking and property (on departure too), recommending restaurants and places to see. They are wonderful people and made the stay even more perfect; I felt welcome and safe - so important for a solo traveller. The property is exceptional - an incredible location with the most divine view from the porch and the bedroom. Very comfortable bed, plentiful breakfast, very well appointed kitchenette, fabulous bathroom with a powerful shower, and the best hairdryer I’ve ever used away from home (never underestimate the value of a good hairdryer). Loved it.

The place is absolutely amazing! It is even better than the pictures. It has everything needed for a comfortable base to explore Matera. The hot water needs some time to heat up in between baths, but it is not difficult to manage. Francesca and Eustachio are so wonderful !

The apartment is brilliant! It has everything one needs, all the kitchen appliances and a big variety of breakfast selection, even eggs. The location is superb and it has the best view ever! Fransesca and Eustachio were very kind, and friendly. They gave us a lift from and to the parking area and they even left us a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate the New Year! Thank you very much! It's a great place to stay and is highly recommended!

Wonderful location, ideal view of Matera from the front door and bedroom window. Hosts were wonderful and very helpful. The hosts made us feel very welcomed.

The owners parents meet us to assist with private parking location and to drive us into the ZTL zone for our lodging and to provide the keys and a tour of the apartment along with answering any questions, providing best sites etc.

There really was nothing we did not like about the property.

Property is in a great location with a beautiful view of the old town. It was so nice having our breakfast at the property before starting our day. A great place to stay and our hosts were wonderful.

It was great to have a whole house to stay in during our two-night visit to Matera - and what views! Being able to look out from the bedroom window at the whole of the old city before us was wonderful, and it was very cosy sleeping in the nook above the lounge and kitchen. The whole house was thoughtfully decorated and felt homey while still offering space. Although not in a cave, the curved ceiling and white walls gave it the semblance of one, so we had the experience without the claustrophobia! Our hosts had provided a good selection of things for breakfast including fruit juice, eggs and yoghurt. And being picked up from the bus station and delivered back to the bus stop at the end of our stay was a blessing and one we were grateful for, given our sizeable suitcases. Eustachio and Francesca didn't speak very much English but gave us a warm welcome all the same, and contact with their son Cosimo, with whom we booked the place, was good throughout. They were happy to accommodate our request both for an earlier check-in and storing our luggage for a later departure time, given the way our bus times fell. Casa Vittoria is well located within one of the main sassi (cave) areas, and is only a 10-15 minute walk to all the main attractions. There are several restaurants close by and the house itself has a tiny seating area inside the front door from where you can view the city. We had a lovely stay here and really did feel it was a home away from home, one that we would have no hesitation in recommending.

The area can’t be beat! It was perfect. The host waited for our car then asked us to follow their car to the car park. Then we transferred our luggage to their car and the took us to the apartment. It was so easy and kind! Stress free!

The location of the accomidation and view to Sassi the Matera was spectacular. Very clean and comfotable with many additional gadgets, made whole experience unforgattable. The owner went beyond expectations and really made whole experience totally seamless and a good start of our journey in Italy.

Cosimo and his lovely parents are amazing host. The property is exceptional compared to the pictures on the listing here. This has the most excellent views of Matera. I have shared the pictures we took from the living area.Lots of restaurants nearby everything is walkable distance. I would highly recommend this place .
