As a female traveling alone, this place was perfect! I felt safe and secure. The location is perfect for exploring historic Palermo. Cristina arranged a fabulous female tour guide for me as well. Hope to return again soon!

The building was old but well kept. Spacious with high ceilings. Location central. Breakfast was very very good with fruit offered daily and the coffee was exceptional.

There could be some noise from street parties at night, but you get earbuds for free, should you be overly sensitive to that.

You are basically living in the very spacious apartment of the owner, where I believe only two rooms with their own bathroom are rented out. Breakfast was to our taste with coffee/tea, some pastry from the local bakery and fruit salad. Everything was great and reviews and pictures are spot on. Location is perfect, host is great.

It’s an incredibly elegant, beautiful and frankly stunning apartment hosted by Christina who is delightful and so helpful. The location is central so within a stone’s throw of all the action. She serves a variety of delicious Sicilian breakfasts which were excellent with classical music playing gently in the background. A great host of a wonderful classy apartment and we also were lucky enough to meet a great American couple who were also staying. Could not recommend staying there enough.

A great place, definitely recommend. Keep in mind if you travel in the middle of August, this is a local vacation season, night street parties with loud music could be full speed at this area of the city.

at night, music was loud from outside. but I think the host can not help making the music stop. because the location is middle of the commercial area. just wonder why the city doesn't have a regulation regarding noise.

Location is excellent for old town Palermo—walkable to everything. Cristina’s place is like staying with an old friend—who just happens to have an art filled courtyard salon. Breakfast is fabulous with exquisite pastries, fresh Sicilian fruit, and big boy coffee. The hostess is kind, winsome, and available—but not intrusive. Bed is comfortable, and the rooms are large.

Cristina is a great host. She took the time to provide us with tips, was always available to help us, but without being "intrusive". Superb, clean and tastefully decorated apartment in an old building (with elevator). Ideally located in the old city, next to bars, restaurants and landmarks. Nice breakfast.

It was a little difficult to find without knowing what to expect. When you enter the outer courtyard you may only see large wooden doors (though the number 5 is plainly visible). I’d suggest you ask Cristina to tell you what name to look for on the panel of buzzers.

A very spacious and comfortable property. It is Cristina’s home which she shares with guests in one suite and two individual rooms. Perfectly situated on a major pedestrianized street in the historic center. Cristina is extremely helpful and kind.

We where there on a Friday night in the automn and it was quite loud as bars are close by. So with somewhat open windows we had to sleep with earplugs and even with those we heard the noise.

The rooms are wonderful and spacious. Breakfast was lovely and the host very kind. It is in the city center so everything can be reached by foot.
