Very good vacation house with a great view of the Eolian islands, Lipari and the nature. The hosts Osvaldo and Simona were very nice and helpful and gave great advice on points of interest on the islands. The room was a basic bedroom including a bathroom + a fridge to store some food & drink which was good to have, A basic breakfast was included in the price and the hosts were nice to offer it a little earlier for us on the day of checkout. Transport to/from the house and Lipari town goes via a very narrow and steep road where usage of some transportation is essentially always needed. The hosts offered this "Navetta" service for €5/per person (only the check in/out transport is for free which is good). The hosts also offered to rent scooter, car and booking excursions and more. We used some of these services, however upon later review I made of other options I might have selected differently in some cases - I recommend you also compare similar options in Lipari for price/value. Overall we were pleased with our stay.

The best possible accomodation you could have! The house has a wonderful location high up and the scenery is amazing from there. The place has a warm atmosphere and it feels good to be there. Everything was perfect.

I had an extraordinary experience with Osvaldo and Simona – they are incredibly kind, and their warm hospitality made this stay truly wonderful. The accommodation is stunning, with a breathtaking view that you never get tired of. It has all the amenities you need for a perfectly comfortable stay. The Wi-Fi and mobile network work very well, and combined with the delicious breakfast and Osvaldo and Simona’s kindness, you really feel at home! I truly felt like part of the family during my stay, which is something quite rare. I can’t wait to return and further explore the many treasures of this island, with Osvaldo by my side. You won’t find a better place to stay or a more heartfelt welcome on Lipari. A huge thank you to both of them for their love and generosity.

We loved everything about our stay at Casa tra Cielo e Mare. Right from the start, when Osvaldo came to pick us up from the port to the magnificent view from our balcony, you couldn't fault a thing.

The view from the terrace is breathtaking. Osvaldo is an amazing host and made our stay an amazing experience. I highly recommend having dinner there and enjoy some great Eolian food and enjoy the beautiful view. There are also some nice beaches around and other stuff to see. Osvaldo and Simona are lovely and took good care of us. Osvaldo picked us up when we arrived on the island so we didn‘t have to walk up the steep street with our luggage. The view from up there is beautiful and we could enjoy it from the hotpot! We can recommend the Lipari Island Tour with Osvaldo, he showed us all around the island and has a lot of interesting stories to tell! Thanks fot beeing such good hosts, we loved it in your home between sky and sea!

We stayed 3 nights at Osvaldo after visiting Salina. Il buongiorno si vede dal mattino we say in Italy. You judge the day by the way it started. In the case of Casa Cielo e Mare, it was totally the case! Before arriving to Lipari, Osvaldo texted us he would have come for us to pick us up with the car and get us to the place. Once up on the hill, we were welcomed by a literally stunning view, Rio de Janeiro style, overlooking both Marina Lunga and Marina Corta, the Castle, Monte Rosa and Monte Gallina… absolutely breathtaking! While looking after the administrative tasks (registering our IDs), he gave us a complete hands on guide on what to do on the island and which means of transportation to choose (mainly scooter or car), places that are worth a visit and several logistic tips… many! Food: continental breakfast with various options to choose from. Worth a mention the eggs Simona prepares… d-e-l-i-c-i-u-o-s. Accomodation: clean and simple. Highlights: to go back to the B&B up on the steep hill, most guests will prefer either to call Osvaldo, who will come for you for a symbolic price, or to rent a car. Do not attempt to the steep hill on a scooter if you are not an expert driver! Please, be serious about it, walk instead, it’ll be good for you especially if you are out of shape :) Tigro and Pierino, the two cats of the house, are the kings of the place. ...it requires either an downhill/uphill hike or a lift from the host (small extra charge each way). They are very accommodating with pick up and drop off, but something to consider.

Fantastic hosts, very friendly and informative on what to see and do around the island. Pick up and drop off are free, to and from the port at the beginning and end of the stay. The facilities offer a warm SPA/Jacuzzi pool, perfect to relax at the end of your day. The view was stunning, in a lovely location but...

we had the best time in Lipari! If you are in Lipari - stop searching for an Accommodation and book your stay at Casa tra Cielo e Mare! Everything was great and if we could, we would have stayed even longer. Osvaldo and Simona took care of everything we needed. from the organization of a rental scooter to the pick-up service from the port to the daily yogurt „naturale“ for breakfast - everything was just perfect :-) The view from the terrace is just stunning and the breakfast served everyday is so delicious - Home Made marmelades and fresh bread and sweets! The Apartments are equipped with everything you need and clean! Thanks Osvaldo and Simone for having us, it was a pleasure to meet you! we will come back for sure!

Views like the one you can enjoy from "Casa tra cielo e mare" have a price: being the property up the hill, it's not easy to reach on foot, as the road is quite steep. You need your own transportation, but don't worry if you don't have one: Osvaldo and Simona will take you up and down at a moment's notice.

Osvaldo and Simona are exceptional hosts, ready to accommodate every need you may have (and over!), from suggesting restaurants and places to visit, to lending you their own snorkelling kit, to driving you to and from town every time you need for a small fee. The bed was comfortable, the room had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the nature and the silence in which the property is immersed. However, what really can't be beaten is the view: the property is up on the hills, with a breathtaking view of the port and of pretty much half the island. Once your day is over and you're back at "Casa tra cielo e mare", just sit down on the terrace and take in the view: you won't forget it!

We booked bungalow with jacuzzi. However, bungalow was not really private: there is a storage room at the back and B&B worker needed to pass through our terrace to reach it. Jacuzzi is not on the bungalow territory, it is between main building where every guest can see you and garbage bins / home appliances area (the photo of jacuzzi done from our bungalow). The bubble function never worked, though we reported it the very first day. Hosts said they fixed it, but no. So, it was just a warm tub. Not worth the money.

The host Simona really went above and beyond as a host, thank you! Also, the view was awesome.
