This place is a delightful discovery, set above Modica in all its glory. The views are stupendous and the hotel is stunning from design to hospitality. Breakfast is a joy; delicious and homemade and set out for you to enjoy the view. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and explore Modica, Ragusa Ilba and Scicli. Thank you Vittoria who made our stay comfortable and Angela for her delicious breakfasts.

We liked everything. Just note that when you arrive by train or bus in town, it’s difficult to find. I recommend taking a car so you arrive above the hotel.

Because we were travelling with young children, the many steps were challenging. Accepting that the entire project is yet not finished, it would be nice to have a large communal area for guests to use.

The Rooms are aesthetically beautiful and comfortable. The views are amazing.

Be prepared for lots of steps but it adds to the charm!

This place is absolutely stunning! Every tiny detail has been thought through and Marco the owner (an architect) has impeccable taste. Breakfast overlooking the city is pretty special and the pool is a lovely added bonus. There are some works underway and so can only imagine it will get better and better!

This was a lovely place but high up in the town. Difficult to use the car so you had to negotiate a lot of narrow paths and steps to go to and from town.

A lovely development with great views in lovely grounds. An excellent breakfast. Nice pool area. Very pleasant manager. I had some car problems and he couldn't have been more helpful.

This was the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. Its architecture, the interior design, the garden and pool area as well as the comfort level is sublime. Also, the owners are really welcoming and genuinely interested in you.

200 steps to main street where you can find restaurants, 120 steps to pool, breakfast was very limited, no mirror in the room.

Could be more privacy if there is cover of the door to the garden in the room, rather than a transparent curtain. Other guests can also access to the garden.

The room is with good design and it is with a superb view of the old city of Modica. We enjoyed spending time there and also in the garden. The breakfasts were great and you can enjoy the breakfast with the good view. Vittorio is very nice and helpful.

Nothing to do with the property, we were unlucky as there was a very loud rock concert during our stay both evenings. Also, even if in June, it was very hot so we did not dare adventure too much in exploring the city as we wanted. A good reason to come back! I would advise visiting in May or October.

The Manager Vittorio and the superb Cook Angela and all the staff were fantastic and made our experience, together with the superb views you enjoy of Modica. The breakfast was in a great setting, very homey and Italian and delicious. We did not try the pool but it looked great. A great list on places to go, eat, beaches was ready and shared upon arrival. Get a bubbly and enjoy it with the views for an unforgettable aperitivo and memorable experiences!!

The lack of food/ drink services. I believe they are opening a restaurant/ bar etc. which is incredible ! would be nice not to have to venture out into town for food options. The new pool area is stunning, but definitely needs some umbrellas/ shade options and drinks etc!

The property is stunning, very beautiful and an unexpected surprise in modica! The garden and pool is devine. The best part is homemade breakfast from the lovely ladies, it feels like you’re in somebody’s home. Aa a special guest! The balcony’s are very special also!

I would have liked a kettle in my room and tissues in the bathroom.it was a unique stay in a unique location.
