Although the location was great the wonderful view of the bay is an overstatement as there is a mural wall in front of it. It seemed hence a bit overpriced. Guests should be aware that the walk to the parking takes 5-10 minutes with staires and path along the beach (although host will offer to help).

The bed was very, very soft and the futon in the living room was pretty basic. I would recommend providing a little bit higher quality furnishings so it’s more comfortable for longer term stays.

Amazing location! Right on the beach with great views. Personally, I preferred this location on the beach to the chaos in Taromina. Very spacious with a washing machine and clean. It is not overly equipped but has everything you need to cook, have a couple drinks, and enjoy the view! It’s a great value, especially considering the hotels next door charge $2,700/night for the same location.

A unique gem right on one of the best beach’s in Sicily

- You needed to stand to appreciate the view from a very specific angle. If you sit on the sofa, you see a wall. - The entrance (common area to the building could have been better maintained, looked quite gritty with lots of sand and some random garbage (looks unkept). It would have been nice to have someone maintain the building common spaces...would make it a lot more pleasant. Seemed a bit dingy at first sight. - The building would benefit from having a water source to clean off feet right before you walk into main area (just a hose would be good enough). There currently is one, but not in the right location as you drag sand up the whole way to the bottom of the staircase before you go up to the apartment (it creates a puddle of water at the bottom of the stairs which adds to the area looking unclean). - missing a hanging rack to dry clothes - apartment is also missing essentials for cooking. It's the first time we rent an apartment with basics missing such as - salt, pepper, olive oil, sugar)

- Location was great and good instructions from the owners to find the place. Its also walking distance to the Funicular to Taormina and to restaurants on the main street. - The apartment itself was clean and practical for a family of 4. I thought the view was going to be better, but there is a wall blocking direct sea view. Also take note that there is no terrace and no balcony, just patio doors that open up. - coffee pods available - small containers of body wash - great hairdryer

Better towels and glassware for drinks!

The host, Ferdinando, was excellent. Clear instructions of how to find the apartment and keys. Good local recommendations and booked us a car for the airport. Very responsive. The apartment is in an incredible spot. Very covenant for the cable car, places to eat and the beautiful beach!

Very few things to be critical of.

Good location right next to a small sandy public beach. The view from the window is as per the photo i.e. a partial view of the sea. A well appointed and furnished apartment. The air conditioning is particularly good - efficient and quiet. Besides the sandy beach by the property there is another beach 10 minutes walk further South (Isola Bella) which is larger and has a some shade from trees but is pebbly. The restaurant by the car park called La Marina is particularly good.

Entrance, stairs needs an uplift. Reservation with Lidos could be arranged in advance as not all guests will know this detail during high season.

Nicely decorated, equipped apartment, conveniently located right in front of the beach. 2 Lidos available to be booked. Isola Bella is a short walk away. Cable car ( just up the stairs to main road) is also near to access Taormina center.

Everything was good here, I would come again!

* the stairs to get there were a pain for us ( see the picture) . since the apartment is on the beach you can’t park in front of it. you need to park in a parking like 5-8 minutes away from the apartment and walk to the apartment with all your luggage down a very “infinite stairs” ( quite demanding in the heat of summer) . the stairs also apply if you want to get out of that beach to know other places , so you can be climbing those stairs up and down several times per day 😫 *definitely no a location for a person with reduced mobility (wheel chair)

* it is a very beautiful apartment that seems recently renovated and just like the pictures it doesn’t have balcony but it has a window from which you can see the sea * it is pet friendly apartment 🐶🐱 *lorenzo is top 👍🏻💯. he gives recommendations about restaurants that are very accurate. we enjoyed some restaurants from his list. * the apartment is practically in front of the sea , the only thing you need to do is step out and jump into the sea. *there is a lot of restaurants close by * the gondola to the city top is also very close by * the air conditioner worked properly * the washing machine worked properly

While on the beach it didn't have the view we expected and was on the beach area was incredibly small and somewhat unkempt and setting with chair and umbrella not provided.

The apartment was very nice overall. Some things missing like napkins and kitchen towels and basic kitchen necessities like olive oil, salt, pepper that short stay visitors need.

I had no dirà there were 89 steps to get to the door and no way to drive to the door to drop off bags. We only had a tiny view of the sea. The beds were in horrible condition. The space was clean and overall usable.
