The veranda is exactly what in the picture. The unit is very beautiful and clean. The amenities were helpful. The location is near to everything. The gelato store under the unit is one special treat. The host, Lorena, patiently waited for us to arrive. She even welcomed us with wine. Her family also did a favor for us that we will never forget. Book this property and you will not regret it. The host will treat you as her family.

The bathroom facility in the unit was not easy to use...shower/bath was not safe and hard to keep water off of the floor with the half stall. Washcloths and more towels would have been nice. Noise level was quite high with walkway just underneath apartment. Quite a lot of cobblestone steps to navigate, especially for older people.

Lovely property and location was just beautiful! Alberto was quite accommodating and nice.

The shower was a little tricky to use.

We loved the beautiful view and little terrace. Alberto was very friendly and gave us good recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing.

Nothing to share here, we didn't have anything negative for our stay.

Our host Alberto met us at the rail station and drove us to Casa Pergola. A short walk from the car, but that was expected considering where we were. Casa Pergola is situated right on the lake with a fantastic view and is centrally located for easy access to restaurants, the ferry terminal and the main square. The facilities in the apartment were top notch. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space to relax in. A first-floor unit with a side balcony exclusive to the unit, was large enough to relax on in warmer weather. We couldn't have been happier with this lovely accommodation.

Everything 1-The owner Mrs Lenora very helpful and offers us free transfer from train station to the property 2-the apartment well equipped with everything you need for long or short stay 3- the location in the heart of Varenna lake so you can reach everything within few minutes walk. The view is stunning and breathtaking 4- Although we came in law season but there was really a lot of thing to do just if you like the nature and ferry transportation from lake to others

What an absolute gem. Beautiful location, clean with all the facilities. Owner met us at the station and drove us to our property which was an unexpected surprise. The balcony was a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the views of the lake and surrounds.

Absolute heaven on earth is Casa Pergola. As a group of coeliacs (gluten free) we totally enjoyed the self contained kitchen and were even able to do our washing! The location and views cannot be matched anywhere in this region. Central location. Excellent service from the hosts with pickup from the train and being taken to the apartment. This stay is one that will be an absolute highlight of our lives. And your own gelato shop right downstairs. Nothing beats getting up in the morning and enjoying Varenna before the tourists arrive.

The air conditioner didn’t work correctly and got worse as the stay went. We had to sleep in the living room because the bedroom was so hot and there wasn’t an air conditioner on there.

Location was outstanding. The balcony on the water was amazing.

Absolutely nothing

Absolutely perfect location. The view is amaizing and Giorgio and his wife were super - they helped us with a collection at the train station and when we go to the unit - Giorgio even gave us a delicious bottle of Italian Wine.

There was no breakfast, but there was a coffee maker and coffee.

We did not know it was on season and Varenna was overwhelmed with crazy tourists.

Amazing location, well stocked, clean, fantastic directions from our host. His suggestion to pick us up at the train station was so kind. The views are amazing, the facilities fantastic.

Communication with the hosts was excellent, and they provided great service. The location couldn’t be beat! The view out of the windows was spectacular. The apartment, while not luxurious, was very cozy and comfortable. Varenna is lovely, and there are many restaurants and shops within an easy walk of the apartment. Just be aware that there are steep steps everywhere in Varenna and the ingress and egress to the apartment are no exception. The ferry was close enough to be easy to get to, but not too close to be a disturbance.

Amazing location. Kind and helpful host. Conveniences such as a washer which we appreciated. Clean and comfortable. We slept 2 in the bedroom and one on the pullout sofa and were all very comfortable. Thank you!

The hot water was limited, we had to wait between showers for the water to re heat, it would have been good to have known this in advance. Help carry of baggage from the square to Casa Pergola and return would have been really appreciated.

The air conditioning system didn’t work, I informed the Alberto, but he didn’t do anything about it. I had to text Alberto to clean towels on the second day.

Property was very tired needs updating Shower needs fixing. Toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet. rusty shelving in the bathroom. Outside space very tired chairs no good to sit on railings all rusty requires painting
