Shower head was a bit too old but the water was fine, hot. It was difficult to get back to the station as there are no buses on Sundays from Cortana. That’s not the fault of the B & B; just something for travelers to be aware of.

This year the weather was very hot, and rooms have fans but not air-con. Internet not always working well.

Nothing. Except Google Map took me up the steep route to find the premises and I had a heavy suitcase to drag up this way which was quite unnecessarily steep (I found out later in the day, when I’d recovered from the climb).

An lovely b&b, it is right in the heart of the beautiful old town. The room was spacious and very clean, breakfast had a large selection of food to choose from and everything was just what I wanted. The host was exceptional, very friendly and very helpful.

It is perhaps not suitable for the very elderly such as us, because one must climb very many steps in a steep street to reach it. uit not impossible, if you stop to take a breath now and then! We DID really like it, apart from that

ver nice breakfast of fresh brioche and home-made cakes; yoghurt and mousli. Toaster. Fruit juice in fridge and excellent machine coffee. It's clean, comfortable, and has a very pleasant staff, Very close to the church of San Francesco, and in the centre of Cortona, near the museums and churches. Good value for the price.

Due to the heat we found that the ceiling fan in our room wasn't quite enough so we asked for Beatrice help and she really kindly sought out a fan for us and so I would say she went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The place may benefit from having extra fans for each room or A/C. The wifi broke down due to the extreme heat but Beatrice was on hand to ensure this was fixed immeadiately which is great. Breakfast was quite simple - some fruit maybe some bananas or apples would have added a little extra for me. Also, my partner is vegan so only drinks soy milk and I have dairy allergy, so maybe some vegetal milk would have been handy for the coffee (though understandably that is quite particular).

Beatrice met us and showed us the room and welcomed us - she was really helpful throughout the stay and very responsive to messages and quick to sort out any query. The place itself was really pretty, set next to church and was part of the convent I believe. The furnishings are all in keeping with the historic theme of the property and I would say the room was very cute with a gorgeous and unique view of the courtyard. It's also really quiet as it's a little walk up a side street from the main squares so our sleep was undisturbed. I liked the unique breakfast experience which was sort of communal and it meant we met some other people during our stay which was pretty cool. I would say the breakfast provided was very basic but what I really liked was that cold refrigerated mineral water was provided which really was a plus for us especially with the heat. The place was very safe and secure. I would definitely stay again maybe earlier in the year outside of the hottest time of year. All in all it was really a unique and memorable stay.

very slow internet, the router is at the reception and there was almost no signal in our room.

The location was pleasant and spacious, the same with the bathroom. the breakfast was quite useless as there were only sweets there.

Occasional noise from hallway when people talk, (or when my neighbour spoke passionately, loudly and frequently) but that's just for awareness, it didn't bother me too much.

Such excellent communication from host. Met with warm welcome at front door with pm check in much appreciated Was so grateful to have room with lovely view over the inner church area directly opposite the san Francesco church and bell tower. Basic room as expected. Super clean. Comfortable. Huge puffy duvet on bed. I guess they know the room is likely to be cold. What is it about Italy and the draconian government regulations about turning heating off April 1. Very good price great location. Would highly recommend

there were 5 parking spots outside the B&B but in three days we never saw a spot available. Luckily we were able to drop off our luggage and park for free outside this walled city. many high walkway hills to climb.

There are only 4 parking spots near the place, so if you are late you will have to leave your car in the town's public parking - however, it was only one single small minus of our stay.

Centrally located B&B in the old building (former St. Francis monastery I suspect). Fantastic location, great breakfast, all you need is in the rooms, or in a well-equipped kitchen, very nice staff. I can really recommend this place.
