The only negative thing I have to say is that the shower didn't have enough pressure.

Shared bathroom for too many rooms, often times had to wait to use the bathroom or toilet. Shower pressure was quite low.

Perfect central location, so close to everything. Very friendly staff. Nice room with a comfortable bed, and very clean.

The accommodation is on the third floor. There was a private lift available for use on arrival only. During my stay it was mandatory to use the stairs. At 5.45am on the day of departure I was notified by email that the lift was out of order. It should be stated in the description that the accommodation is on the third floor.

I really liked the location, it was ideal for sightseeing and shopping. The staff was very friendly and even booked a taxi for me as requested.

My room was adjacent to the entrance to the hotel (which is, in fact, a large apartment in a residential building divided into separate rooms) and the loud locking mechanism meant that I heard some noise every time someone entered or exited the hotel. The noise from the street is also significant, even after midnight - but there's no air conditioning, so there's no choice but to leave the window open. Also, the refrigerator in my room did not work.

The main attraction is the location, which is excellent given the price point. The bathrooms are shared but were very clean; the room itself was large, well-appointed and serviced daily. Free tea and cookies, and a very reasonably-priced coffee machine, were a nice bonus.

The location is great. They gave me a free upgrade to a double room with a private bathroom, which made me very happy. The staff is nice, he helped me carry the suitcase upstairs as they don't have a lift. There were some mosquitoes, but as long as I used the spray, it wasn't a problem at all.

At first I was in a beautiful double room with a private shower. But, as I was traveling single, the owner asked me to move to a very plain single-person room. This was fine except that it cost the same amount of money.

The owner was a delightful human being, very helpful and kind. I loved that there was a cappucchino machine for the guests, although it wasn't always working, but there was also a table with teas and hot or cold water machine always available. The building is an old renovated theater, charming and funky and authentic. The building was near a park and restaurants, and very near the Palazzo dei Congressi where my conference was being held,

For me it was a good time there. I have no complains or bad experience.

The host - Andrea - is a magnificent person: friendly, welcoming, charming, ready to help if you have any questions or requests. The building and the interior are very authentic, with some history. It's not high-end or modern, but, in my opinion, that's not a downside because it's something you shouldn't expect, after all. I would say that it is particularly a great place to stay for those who travel by themselves. Also, the rooftop terrace has a magical view over the city. The location of the property is fantastic, because the entire historic city centre starts around the corner, so you can easily get from/to any place at any time on foot. Hint: of course you'll get navigational tips on how to get to the place {it's quite tricky for a first timer}, but what helped me the most was that the entrance is next to the Florence Station Rental in the same building.

The WiFi did not work, this is not the hotels fault, more the provider of the network. Bathroom door needs fixing as door did not lock, but it was clean.

Location is perfect!! The bed and room was a very good size and comfortable. Sheets were changed regularly and bins emptied. Good value for money. I was very happy that I was given my own bathroom and loved the vintage style of the bedroom with all the mirrors gorgeous. The host was very nice and welcoming.

This is not your standard hotel, it's fairly old but has a very authentic feel to it. The rooftop view is absolutely amazing. The host was also very nice to me, he even personally showed me all the facilities that were available and gave me a tour of the small hotel. Overall great stay, would recommend!!

On the 3rd floor, so up quite a few steps. No screens on the windows, so plenty of mosquitoes when it was warm.
