There were 65 steps to climb up to the room. Not necessarily a problem for us but would not suit anyone who has difficulty with mobility. No lift.

Right in the middle of the city. It had air conditioning and since we got very hot days while being there, that was most appreciated.

The pillows on the bed were very flat which made sleeping a bit difficult for me.

The location was excellent - we loved being in this part of the town, and it was very quick and easy to get to the Arena etc. The building was very quiet. The air conditioning worked well and was a life saver. There was thorough useful information in the room.

The bed was big but not the most comfortable. We would have appreciated extra pillows as the ones provided were quite flat and uncomfortable. A minor complaint!

The location is just perfect - so close to key attractions, restaurants and shopping strips but situated on a quiet street away from the chaos and the tourists. It was also easy to get to from the train station via bus. The place was very clean and well maintained. There are two rooms and bathrooms so you may share the apartment with others. The living area and kitchen are shared spaces and we found our neighbours to be quiet. The apartment is located on the top floor so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs as there is no lift. There is airconditioning in the bedroom and shutters for the skylight window which made the room very comfortable.

Lot of stairs! After walking the hole day it is very challenging to go home... There is no indication that the location is inside a restricted zone for cars. We'd rented a car and followed the GPS instructions to the address and suddenly we were inside the traffic restriction zone. At first we guessed we could go because the sign says "except for hotels guests" but later we found out that "not all hotels" are exempt.

was a little insecure abot the checkin as did not receive the code until the morning of the visit and as i would be travelling without access to the internet I was concerned there may be a problem. In the event, the code system worked very well. I think if the weather gets very hot it could become very stuffy as the minimum the aircon goes down to is 24 degree. when it rained heavily there were some leaks, mainly in the kitchen and I wasnt sure what to do.

very central location. The property was under the eaves so the room height was very low at one end - not a problem - and only tiny windows. However it was a good size, tastefully decorated, good bed, sheets, wifi, electrics tec. It was also useful to have a lounge area (shared but we rarely saw the occupants of the other room), and a kitchen with a fridge, microwave and an excellent coffee machine and plenty of coffee capsules (and many types of tea) provided by the host. a nice touch. the private bathroom also had a very strong and hot and clean shower.

Restricted Aircon meant you had to get used to warmer than wanted, mattress is rather hard, doors don't have sound blocking so although we were fortunate that other guests were quiet we could hear them easily. No way to do any cooking. Although a cleaning fee was charged the place wasn't cleaned once while we were there so started to get grubby after two weeks. You have to take your own bins out and empty any rubbish you make into the public bins

Loved the location, great big bed, table with chairs in room, had an issue with door code a week in which they fixed promptly. Kitchen and living room though shared were nice. Fridge, cutlery, crockery and wine glasses. Private bathroom.

No elevator, room is at the top floor. So with heavy luggage it will be a problem. Lack communication from the agency/host, questions were not answered promptly.

The property is located in the town area, 3 mins walk to the main town street. It’s around 10mins from the main train station (25-30mins by walking) It’s within walking distance to most of the attractions and top rated F&B. Room is basic but comfy, but toilet is external. They also give the guest a welcome gift.

We had a great stay at Casa Mama! The location is excellent – everything is within walking distance, including some amazing restaurants just around the corner (highly recommend Locandina Cappello and their wild boar ragù!). The room was spacious and comfortable for two. Although the bathroom is located in the hallway, it’s right next door and very convenient. There’s a well-equipped kitchen where we prepared breakfast and evening snacks, plus a shared living room we didn’t end up using. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Expensive option for a shared apartment where other guests didn't seem fully informed and left their things all over the common areas. Management fixed this issue very quickly. Next group of guests in the other room talked late into the night both nights and this was easy to hear through the walls, so I would not recommend this place for those who are traveling to work. It's fine if you're open to a bit of noise and can go with the flow regarding other people's habits. Room could get pretty stuffy.

It isn't very clear in the description that this property is shared. It's basically a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment that they rent as separate units, but you share the kitchen, living room and hallways with the other rental unit people. I didn't know this until I was awaken at 7am to the sound of someone walking outside my bedroom. I thought it was a burglar, so I swung the door open ready to go, and instead it was a half naked person going to the toilet, who was equally as frightened to see me as I was to be awaken by her. When businesses try to hide major details like it's a shared house, it really unfair to the guest. Being upfront about the offer pays better in the long run.

As we had a late flight we were so pleased we could have a late self check-in at Casa Mamà which we had struggled to find in Verona, however when we arrived at 11pm we were still very warmly welcomed and shown around the property which we thought was so lovely and unexpected! It was very homely and in the perfect location to go out and explore Verona and being a coffee lover I was especially excited about the coffee pods! We were even left a special homemade gift on our bedside table to remember our trip. We would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Verona!

It wasn’t a problem for us because we had very little luggage but there is no elevator so those traveling heavier may have issues with all the stairs.
