The parking is located further down the street, but we easily found a free spot.

A very cozy house with a spacious garden and beautiful mountain views. Quiet and peaceful location, perfect for relaxation. The hosts were welcoming and always ready to help. The property has its own idea and history, which makes the stay even more unique and inspiring. Easy access to the lake and main attractions by car. We were especially grateful for the possibility to stay with our dog (extra cost of 15/20€ per night). Dogs are welcome to enjoy the garden, while the designated toilet area is outside the property — this keeps the garden cozy and pleasant for everyone. Special thanks for the detailed instructions we received in advance on how to find the parking and reach the property.

A map of the local facilities like grocery stores, laundry would be useful. Marina gave us some pointers but was still hard to find things around since we didn't have a car.

Everything was perfect! The proprietor has such incredible attention to detail in decor and guest service! I have travelled the world and stayed in so many places but I feel Casa Lumaca is extra special! I highly recommend the host and property!

Really unique and interesting property, beautifully furnished and maintained. Situated just up the hill from the centre of Tremezzo, a 10 minute or so walk down. Comfortable, large room. Fantastic home made breakfast in the morning with so many choices. Handy parking nearby. Would love to come back and stay again one day.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Lumaca in Lake Como! The B&B is beautiful and peaceful, with lovely rooms and stunning views. What truly stood out was Marina’s incredible hospitality—she was so helpful, kind, and thoughtful throughout our visit. She made us feel completely at home. We can’t wait to come back!

Because of the walk into the property needed and the need to climb stairs, I would not recommend for anyone not mobile.

Super clean, tastefully remodeled B&B. Super spacious. Beautiful garden. It was extremely hot when we were here and the room AC worked perfectly. We looked forward to breakfast every morning - delicious perfectly ripe fruit cups…. Great restaurant recommendations - we visited 3 on their list. All were superior and beautiful settings. Super detailed and thoughtful about making sure you understood where to park your car. It was a very close by parking lot and did not pose a challenge for our group.

Walk up hotel stairs for the room after a long walk uphill for free parking is very tiring .

Beautifully restored old home. Read all reviews about the location. Free parking is 300 meters uphill and no lift, we did not find these were any problem. Short walk to the ferry (20 minutes).

Limited services (no ironing which we specifically needed). Take a taxi uphill with your luggage, this is one thing I regret I didn't do.

The house has a lot of personality. The garden is beautiful. Breakfast is very diverse. Bed is very comfortable.

Everything was perfect, nothing to complain about.

Incredible in every possible way. The location is perfect - very close to the ferry port (from where you can easily get to Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio, even Como) and bus stop, yet super quiet during nights so you sleep like a baby. Every road and path leading to Casa Lumaca is absolutely beautiful so even just strolling around is an unforgettable experience. Marina is an excellent host, super attentive to her guests, warm and elegant at the same time, she makes you feel at home (and it just so happens that this house is like a five-star castle;)) and you just don’t want to leave. Breakfasts are 10/10, super tasty and every day there was a homemade cake made by Marina herself. Cakes were to die for, just wow. This place is magical, we wish we could stay longer.
