This is a warm and beautiful house with a mix of Ukrainian and Italian culture, beautifully decorated. The room was cozy, clean and confortable with all utilities functioning properly (including the AC). The family was so kind and sweet. Although we couldn't communicate in English very well we managed to understand each other and I was always received with kindness and a smile. The house is 10-15 minutes walking from the city center but it's an easy walk.

It's very easy to get by car, there is a free parking just near the house. We walked to the center of the city for 15 mins. A very calm location, many cafes, shops are nearby. The host is always in touch, it's really helpful. The room is not very big but for a short stay for 2 pers it really works. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Tea or coffee can be made just in the room. Maybe it's not very luxurious but it's an amazing opportunity to have a rather nice comfort for such a good price during a high season!! We are completely satisfied with our staying and would definitely recommend it.

I think the hosts were used to very short bookings. With a stay of 2 weeks I expected a change of bed linen after one week. I would also have welcomed information on how and where to dispose of waste. As it was i just found nearby disposal facilities. One of the knives was broken, and one of the cups was chipped. This kitchenette facility, though very welcome, felt rather run down.

Breakfast was not in the deal. There was an excellent cafeteria nearby. The hosts were kind and friendly.

Temperature of the water while in the shower went from icy cold to scalding hot without touching the controls!

Property is a 15-20 minute walk from the historic walled city of Lucca and the train station just to the south of it. This was just right for us as we were in Lucca to see the walled city and to take a bike tour starting from the rental shop adjacent to the train station. Room was on the small side, but we really only used it to sleep and shower, so it served us adequately. There is an outdoor patio area for use by guests, and we likely would have used it if we had spent more time at the property.

The power plugs are Italian, so you can't always use them, but that's probably a problem with all the places we've been to in Italy. There was cutlery in my room, but no knives in the room my relatives occupied. However, as soon as I asked for a knife, I received it without any problems

The property is located about 10-15 minutes walk from the old part of the city. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable. Very nice owners of the facility. When I asked for a sharper knife, I received it without any problems. Free parking on the next street, along the road.

Unfortunately the only downside to this location was subpar cleanliness, we usually wouldn't be very attentive or focused on how clean a location is, but some basic things like soap wrappers left in the shower, hairs on the floor makes you worry a bit about the cleanliness of sheets and shower!

The room had good basic facilities, air-conditioning, wifi, kitchenette, enough sockets for charging, hot water, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the location is great to walk into the city.

of course I find it a bit expensive for one room but at the time we booked everything else near the center was even more expensive… so I think this is normal in this area..

it is 20 minutes walk from center and very quiet. for a family, I would not recommend a long stay as it has no kitchen and the room is rather small. but for one or two nights is very good. there is an Italian coffee machine and coffee, a small fridge so good to have a few stuff for breakfast. the parking is very practical as you park in front of the house in a quiet street.

This house is very tastefully furnished, the art and traditional elements in the design, which are finely crafted, are very good for our souls, relaxing and inspiring. Every single item is neither too much nor too little, everything is in its place. The piano and guitar welcomed us as we entered the garden. Of course the owner of this house is a very nice lady who has a deep taste. She made us comfortable with her hospitality and sincerity. I would like to express my sincere thanks to her.

We both suffered with sneezing fits for the firs couple of days so we asked for a vaccum cleaner but they said they would come and clean the room in the morning and after that our allergies calmed down, the bedding was very rough. Could have come with some fabric softener.

Great location, walking distance to the city walls of Lucca. Friendly and helpful staff and cleaners. We loved the Cafe Tiffany up the road and went every morning for coffee and breakfast. Also a small pizzeria opposite did delicious pizzas 👌
