Everything was very clean, new and comfortable. Gaetano was very helpful and kind. He gave us great recommendations to visit Polignano and prepared an excellent and varied breakfast. He even gave us local recipes to cook at home!

Gaetano was very helpful in ensuring we had a great stay in Polignano. He provided recommendations as well as offered breakfast options available. He was extremely responsive to any questions we had. The location of the place was excellent as well, allowing us to walk everywhere within Polignano we were hoping to get to as well as accommodated parking for destinations needing a car.

I have a mobility issue with my knee and didn't realize our unit was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. It was my fault for not asking prior to booking. But I did manage to get up and down the steps slowly each day. Other than that, everything else was great.

The host, Gaetano was wonderful. Greeted us when we arrived. Even had chilled watermelon and cold bottled water waiting for us in the fridge. He is a wealth of information about the area and helped us plan our few days spent there. Also, he is a fantastic chef and prepared a bountiful breakfast for us each day. A big plus - we were provided a dedicated parking spot right in front of the building. The town is very nearby and all walkable.

This is a real B&B. The host meets you at arrival and gives a lot of information about the town, the best restaurants, local beaches, ... The breakfast was delicous. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was luxury.

Great, attentive and friendly host. The breakfast was freshly prepared each morning with local cheese and homemade jam and cakes, and useful tips were provided so we could make the most of our stay. In addition, Gaetano supplied fresh water in the fridge every day and amazing local grapes. The location was also fantastic. Central to the station and old town and very quiet at night. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

All was great.

The apartment is new and exceptionally clean. The location is great, especially if you are with a car as you can park for free on the private street right in front of the apartment. Most importantly, Gaetano is a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The breakfast that he cooked for us was great too. We loved our stay at Casa Laforgia and in Polignano a Mare in general.

Despite the exceptionally high ratings and reviews of B&B Casa Laforgia Soffio Mediterraneo here on Booking.com, my wife's & my stay at this wonderful B&B greatly exceeded our expectations, for a few reasons: Gaetano is an amazing, gracious, helpful, and most wonderful host...hospitality is quite obviously both naturally and truly a part of his heart and soul. Following our arrival by train from Bari, Gaetano met us at B&B Casa Laforgia Soffio Mediterraneo to welcome us, then spent close to forty five minutes with my wife & me. Having put a map in front of us, Gaetano patiently wrote out his recommendations for restaurants, sights, tours, etc., to help us make the most of our short stay in Polignano a Mare. Gaetano is a chef by trade, but now focuses on B&B Casa Laforgia Soffio Mediterraneo. He arrives early each morning, and prepares the most delightful traditional Italian breakfast (fresh bread, croissants, mozzarella cheese, ham, the most delightful homemade cakes, and coffees to order for each guest), with the variety of items being served varying slightly every day. Both our room, and the bathroom were MASSIVE, especially so by European standards, being "far and away" the largest we have stayed in during our 4+ weeks in Europe this trip. There are three individual and separate bedrooms with bathrooms at B&B Casa Laforgia Soffio Mediterraneo, which share a common area where Gaetano serves breakfast every morning. I stayed at this wonderful B&B and everything was absolutely perfect. The care and attention provided by the owner were exceptional, and his tips and advice were incredibly helpful. The location is ideal, making it easy to explore the area. The cleanliness and accommodation were top-notch, ensuring a comfortable stay. Parking the car was a breeze with the convenient facilities. To top it all off, the delicious breakfast prepared by the owner and his wife was a delightful start to each day. Gaetano is an outstanding host. He provided homemade breakfast and gave perfect tips regarding the region. He has a big heart and made us feel like we were home. Aside from that the accomodation was really organized and comfortable. And the apartment is well positioned since it is close to the citi center and the train station. Even the apartment furniture is brand new. Grazie mille, Gaetano! Vamos sentir saudades.
