Esmeralda was a wonderful host who thought of everything. This was the best accommodation we stayed in our whole trip. It was very clean, with great air conditioning and quality linen. The bathrooms and showers were the best we’ve had all holiday. The terrace area was perfect of a night time. A 5 minute walk to the station and 15-20minute walk to the ferry area, a supermarket just a 20 second walk, it was well placed for everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Esmeralda! She was there to greet us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the property. It was very clean and lovely modern decor. The wifi and A/c worked great! The location is very convenient for trips to Cinque Terre. The train station is a 5 minute walk away. Esmeralda communicated with WhatsApp throughout the stay and was so nice to provide great recommendations for both Spezia and Cinque Terre restaurants. She left very nice little gifts for our kids at checkout and the entire stay was fantastic! Thank you!

Very modern stylish, very comfortable beds, and very clean and to our surprise we even had our beds redone and place cleaned between our stay and restocked water and yummy snacks waiting for us, hotel style service. Our host Esmeralda went above and beyond with giving us lots of information, recommendations and even calling us a taxi. I highly recommend this place and so close to the train station.

The house is close to the La Spezia station which made it convenient for us to take the trains daily into Cinque Terre. The property is clean with daily house keeping being a plus and Esmeralda left little breakfast treats each day.

We loved how modern and updated the unit was, location was perfect because we could walk to the train station, and our room was cleaned/put together daily. Great job on designing this place :) Favorite stay in Italy.

The inner part of the neighborhood doesn't seem very safe on some streets (we tried walking to some restaurants and didn't feel very comfortable). But walking along the avenue by the train station is busier and seems to be better for tourists.

Everything was wonderful! Esmeralda is a wonderful hostess, she welcomed us very well, always paying attention to every detail and doing her best to make our experience the best possible. The space was super clean, very comfortable and exactly as described. Super close to the train station so you can go to Cinqueterre. I highly recommend it!

EVERYTHING!!!!!!! Was perfect. If you want to travel around Cinque Terre, search no more. This house is simply the very best. Perfect location near the train station and many parking plots around. And the house… super clean and comfy. Newly renovated and nice structure. The host is an angel so she provided us the utmost service ever. There are not so many hosts who can really move you deep and she was one of them. I can’t describe enough how good it was. My wife and sons really didn’t want to leave this house after three nights which felt like a second.

The boiler for shower is not very large, not sufficient for 2 persons to take showers one after another. So one of us ended up showring in cold

Very clean and spacious apartment with stylish decorations, exactly the same as the pictures! Also great location just next to the train station. The host was very friendly and sent us a lot of tips for Cinque Terre, where to visit and where to eat etc. The checkout time was 10:00 but she kindly offered us to stay longer.

It's an entire luxury apartment. It's spacious. The AC works excellently. The location, by the train station, was so perfect for all our outings and exploring. It was very quiet. We slept without ear plugs. The curtains were great to keep out the light and let us sleep as long as we would like. It was so clean! It felt new. The shower was so large. We appreciated the rain shower head and shower wand too. There were snacks, and bottles of water included. Esmeralda communicated easily and quickly. I never worried about contacting her for anything. She graciously allowed us to check in very early as we were leaving another accommodation that the AC did NOT work and we had gotten little sleep the night before. Esmeralda sent many wonderful recommendations which were so helpful and appreciated. The apartment LOOKED like the pictures! It's just as we hoped it would be! Also, there's a beautiful back patio you can sit in. The entrance is also very nice. To note: just as other cities in Italy, La Spezia has a tax/fee for staying there that is paid in Euros/cash upon arrival. Also expect them to need pictures of your passports and it'll be helpful to have the WhatsApp app.

the location is less than 10 min walk to La Spezia station. the apartment is clean and well decoration. we loved it very much and we can dry our clothes in the rainy day. it is so wonderful

Parking is a challenge, but we found a spot close by and stayed in that spot the whole time. It was a short walk to the train station, so we didn't need to drive much.

Esmeralda was incredible. She was very responsive and helpful. Although none of us spoke Italian, Esmeralda was very proficient with a translation app and our communication was seamless. She sent us numerous links to help us find good restaurants. I was concerned about the proximity of the property to the train tracks. She assured us you could hardly hear anything when you were in the rooms. We trusted her and she was absolutely right! Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was lovely. Esmeralda was very accommodating . She had everything we needed in a luxury studio. There was breakfast food supplies and water. The linen was fresh and the bed was very comfortable. Family of 4 we would stay again.

I recently stayed at Casa Esmeralda in La Spezia and had a wonderful experience. The apartment was impeccably clean and well-maintained, making for a very comfortable stay. Its location is incredibly convenient, being just a short walk from the train station, which made exploring the surrounding areas a breeze. Esmeralda, the host, was exceptionally kind and welcoming. She went out of her way to ensure that I had everything I needed and provided great recommendations for local attractions and dining options. While the area is generally safe, it can feel a bit less lively at night. However, I never felt unsafe and found that taking standard precautions was more than sufficient. A tip for fellow travelers: make sure to visit Spezialità, Focacceria Bistrò. Their focaccia is absolutely delicious and a must-try when you're in La Spezia. Overall, I highly recommend Casa Esmeralda for anyone visiting La Spezia. It's a great base for exploring the region, and Esmeralda's hospitality truly makes it a standout choice.

Esmeralda was a fantastic friendly host and made the stay at Casa Esmeralda a wonderful one. The apartment is neatly decorated, stylish touches throughout (beautiful bathroom) and the bed was super comfortable. I felt very safe inside the apartment and I liked how you can lock the door to the dressing room / bathroom / bedroom. A cute terrace to enjoy also.

The hot water runs for only 30-40mins, and then you’ll have to wait til the water gets hot.
