Nothing was bad, we really enjoyed it! For best directions to Casa di Barbano, ask host for best directions.

The best aspect was our host, Moraq. She really shows a commitment to her guests and a knowledge of the city. The place was clean and well presented, air conditioning worked well (just know that we've stayed all over Italy and none have traditional American AC freeze box). Breakfast was traditional fresh croissants, espresso, and some other additions including fruit and yogurt. Beds were on the soft side and pillows were plush. The shower had good pressure and bathroom clean.

We had the MOST wonderful time at this guest house!! I would definitely recommend. The rooms are spacious, the facilities are excellent - there is a courtyard with some outside seating (and chalk for our little one to draw on the bricks). There was a little kitchen for use and tea&coffee throughout the day. Extra little touches like books to read or an array of games to keep us entertained. The breakfast was above and beyond - we were treated so well and happily fed. We will be back!

The shower was great pressure, temperature, and space. That's been a rarity in Italy. The host greeted us and helped us by trekking us advice about the city sights. It's located close enough to everything! She serves a sit-down Italian-style breakfast each day, which is such a nice bonus. She lives on site, so if you need anything, she's readily available.

We had a nice clean room with a private en-suite bathroom, which was close to the centre of Florence. The host Moraq was super friendly, met us with a lovely welcome, and gave us lots of tips on the best places to visit and eat. The included breakfast in the morning was very nice and set us up for the rest of the day.

Our room was smaller than expected but quaint, comfortable and clean. Located within easy distance to the train station and in a nice quiet area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great communication and directions to find the place. Breakfast was quite basic but adequate to start the day.

It was a truely wonderful stay! We have returned here after 10 years with our daughter this time (the first time we were on our pre honeymoon) and the host, Moraq, was the same, very friendly and warm and kind. The place still has that old palazzo feel, with vintage furniture and cozy atmosfere. It's not just a bed and breakfast but a home to visitors. Exceptional breakfast, either indoor or outside in the garden together with four tortoises. A place where we will be returning for sure, definitely not waiting another 10 years to do it.

The refrigerator in the room didn't cool foods.

Breakfast was good. Lucca did a nice job taking care of all the visitors. Juice, cappuccino, cornetto, yogurt, cereals, breads, and fruit. It was nice to have access to a microwave and teapot. Check-in was easy. Moral was a kind and helpful in assisting us in planning our day. Location to the train station and center of town were both very walkable. I recommend this place to stay if you're visiting Florence. You won't be disappointed.

Nice place, beautifully florentine decorated. The rooms are clean, spacious with tall ceilings. The staff was friendly and helpfull with good insights about the city's points of interest.

The breakfast was not that value for money. With one croissant per person and no eggs for breakfast. Even we have to ask for fruits as it was not served by default

The room is spacious and clean. You will really feel like you are in Italy. The staff, especially Luca (from the breakfast) are exceptionally nice. We will definitely be back.

The second I entered Casa Di Barbano, I felt at home. There was such a classy charm to this air b and b and I was so grateful to have found it! Moraq and Luca were exceptional- from reaching out prior to our stay to accommodate our arrival, to serving us breakfast and ensuring our stay was perfect, they were always hospitable and professional. I would recommend this property to everyone coming to Florence!

Very cozy and clean. There is a nice atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. The area is very close to all the popular spots but not too close to where people hang out (so it was quiet at night). The owner was very easy to contact, when we had an issue with the booking (problem on our side). Breakfasts were served to us instead of the buffet which helped us to relax and have a slow morning. Good coffee and tasty croissants!

close to everything 10-min walk to duomo the women that own the place is very nice and very kind! the breakfast is not much but has a quiet terace in the back i will recomand it !
