We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

TurkeyI was staying in room number 1. The neighbour on the same floor was super noisy (not the neighbour in the hotel but in the same building) so it made it difficult to sleep every night. I needed to knock on the wall a few times to turn the volume down and stop shouting with his friends. Another noise problem is that whenever any guest enters to the flat, the ring bells and it is pretty loud. So basically each time someone entered the hotel, I woke up from my sleep. I think it would be good to eliminate that bell because the door is automatic so there is no point to hear it.
The breakfast was not the best, but it was definitely okay. It is good to have breakfast option in the hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect, it is close to the train station and old town so easily walkable everywhere. The staff was super friendly and kind. The room was clean.

SpainThe self check-in was a nightmare. We didn't find out about the self check-in until we arrived in Bari. We downloaded the app but it wouldn't work and just kept stating " invalid field ". How many ways can you say your nationality etc. We were let into the property by a German couple that told us they had the same problem. We were trying to sort out the problem via WhatsApp when a Spanish couple arrived and again had the same problem. Eventually we both got the codes to enter our rooms via WhatsApp but it took quite some time. Very frustrating.

BulgariaThere is no reception. To check in we had to install their app, register online and get codes for the front door and the room door. Communication is via WhatsApp only until we checked in. They did not answer our question about whether they could provide us with a dry breakfast package, as the last day our flight was earlier and it was not possible to have breakfast at 7:30. They did not answer our question about how to get to the airport by public transport. They missed cleaning the room one day. There was no electric kettle and tea in the room as in the description. It seems Gatto Blanko is a chain of hotels/houses, as we booked Gatto Bianco Casa Dei Venti, but through the app they sent us another address where we checked in - Palazzo Gatto Bianco.
The location is excellent. The room is big enough for two, the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is mainly croissants and pastries, two types of sausages, boiled eggs and cheese, but they can make omelettes on request, different types of coffee from a machine.

United StatesThe app for accessing the property gave a number to call upon arrival and no one answered. Luckily I had noticed an emergency number and they were very helpful as locating the code needed to enter the rooms was hard to find on the app. Biggest problem was parking. We had been directed by the facility to a nearby private parking that informed us on arrival that it had no overnight spots! It was a Saturday night with no parking available on streets and horrible traffic. The attendant took pity on us and found us a spot but a backup plan for parking would have been helpful.
The room was comfortable and charming, staff at breakfast was very efficient and friendly. Excellent location near restaurants and short walk to the historic center. Convenient safe place to leave luggage around the corner.

I had to call them, download an app, and fill out a questionnaire while waiting in front of the place. I wish they had contacted me when they received my reservation so I wouldn’t have had to wait for half an hour with my luggage.

BelgiumI had the chance to book with a reduction of the 40% and I think the guest house meets the expactation for the 86 euro I paid. However, to be honest I would have been very dissapointed if paid the full amount. There's no reception and this should be clearly stated at the booking moment, in the night time emergency light switch on suddently due to a black out, but the staff immediatly intervened upon my request. Breakfast area has no window, which I personally love in the morning. Food and coffee was good. Altough nice I won't pay more than 90 euro doubble room for one night there.

United KingdomCheck in uses an app to open the outer door, the inner door and the room door. There are no staff at check in. Once you understand this it works well but it wasn’t clear when booking or after receiving an email requesting to check in online first. Make sure to download the app and register using the email link so you can get in! The rooms are on a Main Street but the windows are double glazed so the traffic noise is ok. However, the breakfast / sitting area is right outside the rooms so it can be noisy when people come in late or get up early.
Convenient location close to the central station and the old town. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was ok - nice Cornetti (croissants).

The room was clean, equipped with air conditioning, located a few minutes walk from the old town. You need to do self check-in online but It’s really easy. The contact was via WhatsApp and I got all the answers immediately. Good breakfast. During our staying which lasted 3 days, the room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed once. No parking but it’s not a problem. I found a place in a green zone and left the car there so it wasn’t too expensive and what’s more important nothing wrong happened to it.
